   I had enquired on the phone about the availability of a property in September next year which,at that point,hadn't put up the tariffs for the week I was looking for.The team member told me that it would likely be a couple of weeks before the prices were available,which worked for me as i couldn't book the time off at work,then.The new tariffs became available and I was able to book my time off,so I went onto the website.It was really easy to use and only took a few minutes to book the dates and pay the deposit.I received emails to confirm the booking within a short time.Excellent service!

   Crab Pot Beesands. Beautiful house and location. However, owners let down by very poor services from Toad Hall Cottages and the caretaker company. Broken washing machine. Feels like a silly thing to complain about but broke one day in and not fixed for duration of holiday. Neither Toad Hall, nor the caretaker accepted any responsibility and played one off the other. Again, seems petty but when you have a dog and you want to go in the sea, the ability to rinse and wash towels, costumes, wet suits daily etc is fundamental. We resorted to hand washing, not what you expect for a high end house. Loved the house but support service is awful. And I hope the owners don’t get charged much for the cleaning service. Not much use having sea views if the windows are as dirty as we had.

   We have been holidaying in Salcombe for the last 40 years very enjoyably. We booked a 1 week stay at Perrots through Toad Hall cottages last month. Whilst the property was large with a nice garden and good sized bedrooms the quality of the property was far below acceptable standard. The lounge and kitchen weee of a very poor tired state. Cleaning had not been thorough with black dog hair everywhere and dirt and detritus in the settee which was heavily stained. The hot tub was not working and had a used pair of ladies underwear in it when we arrived. Toad Hall did provide a temporary alternative hot tub but that also failed after 2 days. There was also broken patio furniture and an old rusting barbque left by the front gate. Even worse was the discovery of fleas in 2 bedrooms and the lounge. 2 members of the party had over 40 bites. This property was not of a standard that is acceptable for rental and Toad Hall took no responsibility for this, blaming the owner and 3rd party cleaning agency. We will not be using Toad Hall again

   Swan Haven Torcross. We have just returned from a weeks stay at this beautiful and excellently equipped accommodation. Our family extended from 4 children ages between 3 to 18 and they were all content and entertained within the house. The accommodation was in excellent condition and all requirements were provided including everything you could need for the pool bbq beach games and the well equipped games room. The garden and grounds are well established and maintained to a beautiful condition. We all had a wonderful holiday which was enhanced by this lovely house. Many thanks to the owners and those who put the hard work in to maintain it. Also walking distance to Torcross beach and the Start Bay Inn made it an excellent location.

   Highwood House in Looe has amazing views and location is good. On the first day we noticed there were no rubbish bags supplied (have to use the ones they give you only). Had to call services who told us that they would drop some off in a couple of days. Until the , we had to have rubbish sat next to the bin until we could put it in the bags that were posted days later. No washing materials supplied so couldn’t use dishwasher and just bought our own washing up liquid for the week. En-suite shower leaks in lower left corner so be careful of that and finally we found a previous occupants medication (large pill) on the floor near the bed upstairs. Did provide this feedback to Toad Hall on their feedback form and had no response back. For the price paid for the week, I would expect better service.

   ideal for us disabled,all on one level We use side door low step rather than front door which are two high steps Toadhall should publicise this as there are not many places suitable for disabled person with good parking as well We will be back in May for 5th visit

   We booked the day before we went to our holiday. Toad Hall Cottages picked up our query out of hours and got hold of the owner to confirm if two dogs would be acceptable. They sent all the relevant getting there and arrival information. Their welcome pack and cleaning packs were a great touch too. I would definitely book with them again.
