Last weekend, I took my curious little boy to Toytown at The Chimes in Uxbridge. From the moment we walked in, the place felt bigger on the inside—bright, airy, and overflowing with playful promise. Toys of every kind—from LEGO classics to plush animals and action figures—lined the shelves, making it feel like a wonderland designed especially for kids. The laid-back atmosphere meant my son could wander freely, spotting colors and shapes that thrilled him. Watching his face light up when he discovered a cuddly toy or a fun puzzle was pure joy. The store felt thoughtfully arranged—each section presented like its own little discovery zone. What truly stood out was how helpful the staff were. They greeted us with genuine smiles and didn’t rush when I hesitated between options—perfect for the kind of unhurried browsing a parent with a toddler needs. It helps that they’re open at really convenient times—Monday through Saturday from 9 am to 6 pm, and Sundays from 11 am to 5 pm—so there’s plenty of room to make a quick stop before other errands or a relaxed weekend treat.

Great shop. For a while now, all the Pokemon products have been scalped (bought for the sole purpose of reselling for a much higher price). ToyTown is one of the few places that have measures to prevent this (purchase limits) and because of this I was able to get some of the new pokemon cards that came out a little while ago.

Went in store recently looking for pokemon cards, sadly had none but i spoke to a staff member called Andrew very friendly gave me a promotional card as consolation and showed me around the store showing other things I collect and have interest in, Enjoyed his passion and knowledge and all round attitude to the stuff they had in store. (Will be back for pokemon cards)

Good selection of toys reasonable prices. They need to get bigger bags to fit the size of present. Mine only covered half way up the box which made the next half an hours shopping quite uncomfortable.
