I am always impressed with how friendly & efficient the staff are here, nothing is too much trouble. My partner and I had our flu jabs here today and the pharmacist, Craig, was so light handed I barely felt a thing!! He was very helpful & reassuring. An excellent service.
I went in only 15 minutes before closing time with a barcode for a prescription from my GP - I was on holiday in the local area. I expected to have to collect the following day. But all sorted in 15 minutes - excellent service!
Had a problem getting my prescription in Tavistock so came here, they sorted it all out and were amazing. Won't go anywhere else now.
⚠️ Been using this pharmacy for 10+ years, with the exception of one or two staff members, they have all been the most miserable and unhelpful people. Makes me wonder if Yelverton is where the Well Pharmacy company send all their ‘problem’ employees from other locations. Can’t remember the last time in 2022-24 when I turned up for my prescription and wasn’t turned away “not ready”, and that’s 4 days after it’s been sent. They are causing people to have multiple trips (not environmentally friendly), not to mention the inconvenience/stress. I now avoid this pharmacy whenever possible. Seeing their 1.7 out of 5 score on Google reviews makes me feel validated that it’s not just me but that there is a serious customer service problem at this location.
It had started to improve but today I went in to collect a prescription and was received with rudeness saying it only came across this morning and I need to give them 24hrs notice if I want it. I stood my ground saying i needed it today and glad I did as it had been done and ready for me to take. I won't embarrass the person by naming them but a bit of politeness and helpfulness would go a long way., and maybe next time check if it has been done before sending a customer away!
Well Pharmacy in Yelverton is getting far better (yes, we all know it has had problems, with staff & medicine shortages). Natalia, the chemist who replaced Chris (retired) is working hard with the new team. Give them all a chance, I say...
I am always impressed at the professionalism of Chris the pharmacist. Very courteous , knowledgeable and willing to help, as are all the staff. Recently they are enduring difficulties with shortage of staff and added pressure from delayed deliveries. People need to treat others as they would like to be treated, the staff here are under exceptional pressure and deserve respect for all they do for us.
I was very impressed with the service I have had from Julie and the team at Well Pharmacy, Yelverton this week. They worked very hard to organise a complicated prescription for me for my father despite being busy. I am not sure how Julie was still smiling and so helpful and pleasant after such a busy day. Thank you.
Slow Slow Slow! The service here moves at a snails pace. Visited this pharmacy several times and every single time I've been queuing for ages. The staff don't have an ounce of urgency about them and customers are left lining up out the door. I never pickup a prescription here I only ever want to drop in and quickly buy one or two products but they don't seem to have the organisation skills to have a line for prescription and a line for sales so what results is most people standing a waiting for 15+ minutes just to make a 1 minute transaction. This isn't an isolated incident the scenario and wait times I just described happen every single time. The staff are polite but the whole operation is just so unorganized and slow.
This pharmacy is getting worse and worse. The staff have no clue what is going on or what they are doings making copious mistakes, along with taking their time whilst doing it (the wait is unbelievably long). They are rude to customers (who are unwell and need to collect their medicine) making people feel uneasy and as if they have done something wrong. I believe if you work in a pharmacy you should be compos mentis and be able to keep a happy demeanour. Sadly this is far from the case at Yelverton pharmacy. Please have a word with the staff and get some decorum back. Many thanks
