   Robert is professional and helpful, although in a very short timeframe, Robert agree to provide assistance to make completion in time possible. The seller and chain met the stamp duty deadline and my completion in 8 weeks, I can not imagine this would be possible without Robert!    We have had the pleasure of having Claire Ryland as our conveyancer and she is absolutely fabulous. Her communication is great, if I had a query she would usually respond the same day, often not long after I’d sent the email too. She always had time for all of my questions and really has been the voice of reason at one point, when I was too eager to set an exchange date before all enquiries were received. She has great attention to detail, and has really made the whole thing stress free. Ellis Fermor & Negus are slightly more expensive than your average solicitor but I find that quality really beats quantity and I’m glad I paid the extra. We purposefully chose Ellis Fermor as we wanted to be able to come into the office should we have any issues. Thankfully the only time we needed to go in was to sign the documents, and they fitted us in last minute the same day I rang which really surprised me. Overall I have nothing bad to say. It’s a been a straight forward process and I will be using them again for any future sale/purchase.

   Extremely Poor service, continuously having to chase for answers to simple questions. We understand that there can be many dependencies when completing a house purchase but we would expect a response to queries that they should be able to answer. The solicitor assigned to our purchase had left the company meaning our purchase was moved to the Beeston branch and we were not informed until a few months later after continuously chasing for information This purchase has been a stressful process and Ellis-Fermor & Negus have done nothing to make it easier. I would strongly advise to find another solicitors

   Absolutely fantastic from start to finish, had a very tricky and stressfull sale/purchase due to a member of our chain using another solicitor whom I will not mention. Ellis Fermor and Negus dealt with the issues professionally, promptly and were always very communicative throughout. Big shout out to Claire who is a credit to this business. She has been faultless throughout the simultaneous sale and purchase of our properties. Would highly recommend. I will definitely use again!
