   Just been in having rung about calf compression sleeves for runners and being told they didn’t do those. The shop did have compression socks (but didn’t think to mention this on the phone). Wasn’t sure whether to buy the medium as no large available. Asked if I could try one on “no we don’t do that” mumbled the female shop assistant ( I used the term assistant loosely!). I don’t think she could have been more unhelpful. Shame it seems like a decent shop but woefully let down by the staff.

   Would have no hesitation in recommending Anchor Sports. It's an excellent shop for sports equipment, has a wide variety of fabulous footwear and impressive clothing for a huge range of sports. Indeed, customer service is brilliant. It really is a marvellous store.

   Nice sport shop, helpful staff and shoes, balls etc for a wide range of sports, also offers local school uniforms. However, some items are slightly overpriced.
