   This was a family open day. It appears my step daughter works there. As a long time train enthusiast (was a train spotter late 50s) I found it very interesting. Also its location at Toton sidings is another well know location. As it was an open day I would doubt if the general public can visit

   Awful.. DB staff especially yard supervisor, very un helpful and no people skills. Trip hazards everywhere, dirty accommodation and no facilities for visitors.

   From the bank , which you have to travel down Bessel lane, you can see a big percentage of locos on and around the shed. If you need , or are a fan of the class 60 s this is the place to visit. The variation is unbelievable, with DRS , Freightliner, GBRF, and DB companies represented . Also many wagons and variety of freight vehicles. This has got to be one of the last depot's that you can still see a large amount of locos without an organized visit or any permission by management given. Would recommend 100 per cent.

   Trains up the ying yang. DB drivers are spot on but the FLHH, GBRF & COLAS drivers are bobbins.
