I can't recommend this trip highly enough! Our tour guide was Isaac and he was adsolutely brilliant. At the start I asked about Isaac's background, whether he was Protestant or Catholic, he didn't tell me and asked me to guess at the end of the tour, at the end I couldn't guess one way or the other as he was completely impartial giving "both sides of the story". Isaac was that informative and engaging he even had my 10 year old's attention for the whole trip.

This was our second Black Cab Tour, and this time we brought our son, a university student in the United States. The tour offers a powerful and unforgettable way to understand Belfast’s complex history, and our experience was made exceptional by our guide, Thomas Patrick. From the moment we set off, Thomas combined deep historical knowledge with personal insight, bringing the story of the city to life in a way no textbook ever could. He explained the origins and impact of the Troubles with clarity, balance, and respect, thoughtfully presenting multiple perspectives while encouraging reflection rather than judgment. Visiting the murals, peace walls, and key neighborhoods felt especially meaningful because Thomas connected each site to lived experiences and human stories. His calm demeanor, warmth, and openness to questions created a comfortable space for learning and dialogue. The tour was informative without being overwhelming, and emotional without being sensationalized. This was far more than a sightseeing tour—it was an education in history, memory, and reconciliation. I highly recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast for the first time.

One of the highlights of our trip was this tour! Our guide Jake (sp?) was friendly, and so informative. It was an eye-opening experience to see the history and experience the locations firsthand. I recommend this to anyone interested in Irish history explained by a local. Book it!

We did this tour at the beginning of August and it was the experience we talk the most about from our 17 day trip to Northern Ireland & Ireland. I would recommend this to everyone, truly such an engaging, informative and empathetic explanation of the Troubles. My boyfriend and I are so grateful that we did this tour and for our incredible guide. The guides are professional, personable and completely empathetic to both sides of this conflict. We had an incredible experience with this company. 5 stars isn't enough!! Much love from Canada.

Ian gave us a very informative and non-biased tour of both neighborhoods. We were able to see many of the murals, and the stops were not just photo opportunities but learning opportunities. Highly recommend booking this tour.

My brother and I took this tour yesterday. It was a gray and rainy day, but it was absolutely worth it! I had read a bit about the history of the Troubles, but getting to experience it so closely was truly an impactful experience. Isaac our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about the history and the communities it impacted. He was very balanced and encouraged us to ask questions and take tons of pictures. The van was very comfy and he was a very safe driver. He was also kind enough to drop us off at the Titanic Experience as we had to go visit it after our Black Cab tour was done.

Overall I would 100% recommend this tour to anyone visiting Belfast. A very unique, informative, and enriching experience. And ask for Isaac, he’s truly top class!

We did our tour with Stevie today and had a great experience. We have been educated and humoured on the tour and would highly recommend. Stevie was a great tour guide and answered all kinds of questions from us. The cab was top class and spotlessly clean. It's no wonder this company's tour has been voted as one of the best things to do in the world.

The taxi tours were recommended to be by a friend and it was a morning well spent. Liam was the guide, he was a fountain of information, very impartial and enthusiastic at the same time. All the opportunities you want to take pictures and ask questions. Definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Belfast.
