   Very interesting, but at same time shocking- the amount of loss of lives, and not just active members of the paramilitaries, but young children and even babies have been killed by bombs and stray bullets. Very sad to read all this. Highly recommend this as part of a day out. Take the time to listen to all the history. And I’ve taken a lot of photos to read back through it all again. I have posted all these photos in my review.

   I had the pleasure of being guided by Jim, and he was a wealth of knowledge. As a solo traveler, I was grateful to be able to ask all the questions I wanted. I was a bit worried about the accent since I’m from the US, but he spoke slowly for me and his stories and explanations gave me a really helpful understanding of The Troubles and life in Belfast today.

   A real insightful tour, and a must do whilst in Belfast. Unfortunately for us due to the snow our flight from London was heavily delayed and we were worried that we would miss out on our pre booked tour. We immediately reached out to John, who was quick to respond and really accommodating, managing to squeeze us in during our trip.    This is a must do if you're visiting Belfast. John is an absolute gem of a tour guide, the knowledge he has along with his story telling ability is outstanding. I would come back to Belfast just to do the tour again. Cannot recommend John enough, and the value for the tour was great too. If you're doing a black cab tour is must be this one.
