   I’ve used H&B for a decade, especially when travelling outside the UK (in Malta, Greece and Spain) as you know you can rely on H&B but I never wanted to do the royalty card. In the past, I always forgot the card, and H&B often had great deals in-store. Recently, I visited the shop in Bath, and Amy was amazing. She was professional and friendly. She made customers feel comfortable and welcome. So, I decided to get a royalty membership this time as I need to get my health back on track. I definitely recommend it to friends and family. Everyone here is very knowledgeable and helpful, thank you.

   Lovely lay out and I do enjoy H&B but the staff here are particularly peculiar and not very professional. They have their own personal conversations on the shop floor while making you wait at the checkout until they're finished. There are also mislabelled items, which when we enquired about, they had a rather awful attitude instead of being polite about it. I haven't given this review after one visit, it's been multiple times now where I'm consistently having a rather unpleasant experience.

   Really strange encounter with one of the staff, I’m not from the UK and can get melatonin over the counter usually, so came in to get some. The old blonde till lady made us feel extremely uncomfortable and said my husband and I were “dodgy”, giving us dirty looks every 5 seconds because we wanted melatonin… One of the customers said that magnesium works, so I asked this member of staff whether they had it, and she refused to answer, just saying that we’re “dodgy”. If melatonin is supposedly a “class A drug” as this staff member said, then she looked like she takes about 75 kilograms of melatonin a day.

   If I could I would give customer service to this place 0. Terrible experience. Went to buy few supplements but seeing the service provided by the shop assistant left immediately. Never speak to the shop assistant lady who looks older Sarah. She is as rude as any person can be. She is there to assist but she got the attitude if you ask for her help. Don't know if she is there to assist or to show atitude. I thought Holland and barret was a reputable shop but looking at their staff behaviour felt really disappointed. I used to shop online but visting the store was a mistake. Would never shop here again.

   Just had an incredibly rude shop assistant say ‘get away from me & put a mask on’ when I sneezed and covered my mouth! I DO NOT EXPECT TO BE ABUSED in a shop. The worst customer experience in my life. NOT ACCEPTABLE under any circumstances. No customer should be treated that way! Avoid this store if you wanted to treated like a human being . I would give minus 5 stars if I could. Retrain this member or staff or keep them away from customers. Very bad for business. Straight after me another woman had a similar rude experience. Holland and Barrett get on to this and sort this!!!

   It's a fairly large branch, and had what we wanted to buy. However, the staff were extremely rude, so rude that I am going to avoid going to this store in the future. I don't understand how you can be so hostile towards customers and talk about them to their face (I've worked retail before), when I was just trying to pay and not being rude or difficult towards you at all. Oh well, maybe it was just a difficult day at H&B...

   I had a really positive experience at H&B Today. (Bath branch) A delightful lady named Francesca spent quite a while explaining and advising on what was possibly best for my requirements. She was very professional and a fountain of knowledge. Even more impressive and clear to see she was very passionate about her subject. Excellent customer service.

   Visited Bath and needed something from H&B. The woman who served us was ace. Polite but someone who knew how to have a funny conversation. If every shop had an assistant like her, shopping would be better. Shame we didn't get her name.

   There’s a horrible ‘older’ female staff member that’s always been so rude to me no matter how many times I’ve been there. Two of my other Asian friends have also been suffering from her rudeness when they went there. I’ve spent at least £1000 at this branch and I regret every penny of it. I like Holland&Barrett products but avoid this branch by all means, go to a different branch if you can.
