   I had to stop getting my prescriptions collected by this particular branch of Boots because of one member of staff who is rude, uncaring, arrogant and very argumentative and not just with me. If anyone is unlucky enough to have had dealings with her I think they will agree with me. When a customer has an incurable, life changing illness, which will be indicated by the medication they are on, a little compassion and understanding should be the least they could expect. Not a staff member who has to prove a point and cause a customer to be distressed.

   Very poor and not what I expect from the big chain Boots brand . I left work on time and passed 4 chemists through the traffic in Belfast on my way from work and arrived at the knock pharmacy with 12 minutes to spare as it closed at 6pm. There was no one in the queue in front of me and I handed over my prescriptions which had 14 items (2 months supply = 7 picks) I was totally shocked to be told. “Sorry we can’t dispense all this. We close at 6pm”. I was flabbergasted! Seriously? I honestly thought that the lady was joking but she wasn’t. I explained that I sat in traffic to get there as I always do and that I had no drugs for the next morning but unfortunately I got no sympathy! What ever happened to the friendly neighbourhood chemist approach. As if there is not enough stress in the day, I had to drive to a pharmacy 3 miles away who opened to 9pm. I feel really sorry for older people around knock who don’t have transport. It’s bazaar! I always use Boot at Knock but I won’t be hurrying back . Very disappointing! #bringbackthelocalcaringchemist!

   This is one of the busiest pharmacies in Belfast with the most efficient and polite staff. They are working under extreme pressure most of the day and yet always take the time to answer customer queries in full and check full details of prescriptions with everyone. 6 star service.

   I asked advice on an item to the pharmacist as I was unsure if I may have been allergic to it. She replied that she was unable to give advice and sold me the item. Turned out I was allergic and have had my face and throat swell up. For the sake of a 1 minute conversation this could of been avoided! Do they not take an oath to help people? Email has been sent to my solicitor to look into the matter!
