I've had a bullying issue from a member of staff while she is on duty for months and it looks like it's being covered up and excuses made for it. Just an outright refusal for certain staff to do their jobs properly and hold staff to account in favour of friendships. UPDATE: June 12th 2025 The company is under new ownership and despite my banning order saying that it becomes null and void with new ownership I was removed from the store today. One member of staff said "I don't care". If this doesn't prove how corrupt Poundland is and how little regard they have for people's mental health and to combat bullying I don't know what does.

CLOSING DOWN 20th JUNE The smallest of the three city centre stores. Tends to be busy store as is located near bus stops. Quiet often the entry door is locked so you need to enter through the exit. Self-service tills very often not working. It's ok but not the best.

I paid £1.05 for an item that cost £0.75, and I was supposed to receive £0.30 in change, but I was only given £0.25. When I checked the change before leaving and pointed out the mistake, the female cashier rudely claimed that she had already given me the correct amount and said she couldn't give me the missing £0.05. Although it's a small amount, shoppers here should always check their change. It was an unpleasant shopping experience, and I won’t be coming here again. I will recommend to customers who will be shopping here to check their changes before the cashier closes the cash container.

Poundland shops location is the prime reason for to visit, this Poundland is just next to Cabot circus. I came to later only there are few more Poundland shops available (one in Galleries mall and other one few meters away near tesco, lid and Aldi. All the times when I visited for few fast moving things, I didn't get what I want. This shop have cut fruits, quick bite snacks and kids toys, kids and women clothing options, some stationery items and kitchen items. Staff is cooperative and helpful when needed. Good shop for a quick purchase with minimal price.

only one cashier works, you have to wait a very long time to finally buy what you want. The self checkouts are switched off so you have no chance to come out less than half an hour

Great service at the checkout, very tentative colleagues. Shelves mostly fully stocked with good ranges. Be nicer to see a bigger drinks selection…mainly consisted of red bull, lucozade and two other soft drinks
