Good well-stocked and attractive shop but staffing not great. Just one poor guy working the self-service tills and also doing the click and collect servicing all on his own. Doing a great job but struggling with the number of people waiting on him. Click and collect is such a big thing now and may well benefit from a dedicated staff member.
The staff are always unfriendly, discount coupons cannot be applied independently, and even the staff can apply coupons only over the main counter. Overall, place gives a depressing impression.
I placed an order for click and collect and tried several times but didn’t arrive eventually so the store manager Victoria very kindly sorted it out and as a good will gesture replaced the items and gave me a full refund. She didn’t have to do that and I thought it was very kind of her. Such a lovely girl and very helpful
Large store with pharmacy, make up, kids, medical, sun care, hair and beauty etc sections. No long wait at tills and store well stocked and tidy.
I went to No. 7 this morning and had a lovely shopping experience. A woman called Rachel did my make up for me. She was so patient and did an amazing job. So often it is difficult to get any advice or help in shops.
If I could gibe this 0 stars I would a pharmacy that is open on a Sunday and isn't NHS registered the pharmacist os standing behind the pharmacy till and can't give you your script and they shut the one in park center which is registered don't see need for a pharmacy with no NHS capability shocking
Sunday 3.00pm, queue of about 20 people, only one person on till. This person has rang the bell for more staff repeatedly, no one came. Shoppers leaving the things they were about to buy and walking out.
I was lucky enough to be served by the lovely Jamie from the pharmacy. She was so helpful and friendly assisting me. Great friendly member of staff
Phoned the pharmacy a number of times yesterday and the phone rang out each time (3 minutes). I understand it is a busy store but this is really poor service. I worked in a Boots store for 8 years and letting the phone ring out simply wouldn't have been allowed or tolerated.
I was in store 18/08/2022 at around 4pm and safe to say I was appalled at the customer service. As I entered the store I noticed a group of 3 female staff members huddled around the no7 stand gossiping, with one particular staff member glaring at us as we walked in, not very friendly at all! Not once were we approached and there was no staff members at the perfume section. As I browsed around the store I could hear these staff members voices booming across the floor discussing issues not deemed appropriate for a customer based work place. Another issue was the lack of staff on tills as only one member was on, having to deal with a massive queue while the rest of the staff gossiped in the corner. The security and customer service is shocking in this establishment and makes the business look bad. Better staff training is clearly needed.
