Me and hubby had a lovely Sunday dinner a couple of weeks ago, id go as far as saying its the best Sunday dinner I've had! Everything cooked to perfection (loved the rosemary roasties and stuffed yorkshire pudding!) Reasonable pricing for a good Sunday dinner. Atmosphere was really nice with live piano in the background with ambient lighting, very relaxing, the only downside was we were sat on the 2 seater near stage (empty stage) so felt quite exposed but this didnt spoil it. Staff were very friendly and professional. We need to come back for evening food, hopefully its just as good :)

Went for Sunday lunch today for our daughters birthday. A most enjoyable visit from start to finish. The placd is lovely. The staff were so friendly, welcoming and helpful. Husband is a coeliac and staff were helpful regarding food that was GF. The food was amazing, delicious and good value for money. We all totally enjoyed what we had. I would highly recommend eating there. The atmosphere was friendly and relaxing with a saxophonist playing. Great ambience. Will definitely return to eat there again.

Visited recently and it thoroughly exceeded my expectations. The new refurb looks great, it's got a lovely atmosphere. The Sunday roast was exceptional and the service brilliant. Will definitely be visiting again, thank you.

It was our first visit to Tom Browns for Sunday lunch since it reopened and it won’t be our last. The sign on the door says dress to impress but the atmosphere was relaxed and not pretentious. The decor is lovely, gold and opulent and the saxophonist playing gave the place a nice vibe. We tried the savoury bread and butter pudding and the three meat roast. Both dishes were superb and so tasty, fresh and full of flavour. The waitresses were smiley and friendly, it makes all the difference. Two sticky toffee puddings finished off a lovely meal.

We visited with family for Sunday dinner, then returned the next day with friends for an evening meal—and both experiences were fantastic. The setting, service, and food were consistently amazing. A special mention to Adam, who was especially welcoming and friendly. The outdoor area is beautifully designed—easily one of the nicest spots in Nottinghamshire. We’re already looking forward to making the most of it this summer. We’ll definitely be back!

If you can stay awake long enough through the painfully slow service the food is mediocre at best. We were seated right next to another table of 2 despite there being plenty of free tables, that remained free through our dinner. It’s so frustrating when tables of 2 are clumped together like sardines, there’s no privacy. It took ages for some one to take our drinks order, by which time we were ready to order food, only to be told someone else had to take that order. Starters eventually came out after being seated nearly an hour, monkfish was ok but overpowered by wasabi so you couldn’t even taste it. The chicken main course was delicious and the reason I’m giving the 2 stars. Garlic bread sauce was lovely and pancetta dauphinois was yum. We eventually decided to have desserts despite the slow service putting us off. What a disappointment. An £8 rum baba which consisted of a dry bit of brioche (no syrup like a rum baba should be soaked in) with flavourless coconut sorbet and a bit of fruit. I’ve had better rum babas from local bakeries! We eventually managed to pay after the disinterested waitress finally got round to fetching our payment. So disappointed, we’d been eyeing up the restaurant for a long time and it’s a beautiful place, but sadly lacking in service and food!

Came here for the black Tuesday, some meals were 50%. I had the fishcakes to start Sausage and mash for the main, it came with cabbage and onion rings, the mash was so creamy and soft. Pudding was plum frangipani, with cinnamon ice cream, plums and ginger cream. Would recommend going, but go on black Tuesday, so that you get money off your menu.
