   Just had an excellent meal here on a family visit. Felt very well looked after by the owner who put a lot of care and attention into everything. Really recommend the chorizo baked in honey - make sure you get some extra bread and aioli to mop up sauces, especially from the meat balls. Has real local family vibes which is great. Thanks a million!

   A Hidden Gem Preserved and Perfected! I honestly can’t say enough good things about Bistro Balsamico. To be transparent, I was a little anxious when I first heard about the change in ownership; this place has always had such a unique, cozy soul, and I was worried it might lose that spark. ​I couldn't have been more wrong. Damian and Charlotte have stepped in and done a phenomenal job. They haven't just preserved the character that locals love; they have revitalised it. The atmosphere is as relaxed and intimate as ever—it still feels like that warm, welcoming little hideaway we know and love. ​The food is simply outstanding. It is easily some of the best tapas I've had in ages. What really impressed me was the balance on the menu; they have kept the charm of the original concept while introducing some amazing new dishes that completely blew me away. Everything was fresh, flavorful, and cooked to perfection. ​Despite the incredibly high quality of the food and the wonderful service, the prices remain very reasonable. It is rare to find a place that feels this special without breaking the bank. ​If you were hesitant about the new management, don't be. Damian and Charlotte have not disappointed. Highly recommended!

   Bistro balsamico has always been the best tapas, we went multiple times and was always amazing food. Unfortunately with the new owners the food standards have gone down massively. Ordered trio of humous with pitta and olives, olives were forgotten, the humous used to be 3 different flavours, it was only one humous. The portion sizes a lot smaller than they used to be, quality of food gone down a lot and menu not as good. We asked for a drink as food was served and wasn’t served a drink so one of us went the whole meal without a drink. After years of enjoying this restaurant sadly we won’t be going back and don’t recommend☹️

   Not my kind of place. Food and drinks were too expensive for me. Only 1 toilet. Decorated lovely inside. Nice for a romantic meal. I went to a babyshower here. Service was slow and not organised im affraid.

   Staff so friendly, as soon as I walked in they asked if I wanted cake going into back to be stored. Place is small with lovely decor and we were a fairly large group but dishes came out at same time, and food itself....... ABSOLUTELY DELICIOUS!!! Definitely going to go again!!!

   Family meal. They were very accommodating and friendly. Food choice was excellent, and arrived hot just as ordered. Delicious dishes and decent size for tapas. We had plenty to take home as the portions surprised us. Prices quite reasonable. Service also very good. Would highly recommend!
