   Booked a taxi for Saturday night and it never showed up. I tried phoning them many times to see where they are and couldn’t get through to them. They never got back to me either to say why they didn’t come. I have a neurological chronic illness and being left stranded with no way of getting home was horrible. I’d never bother with these again.

   We stayed in the Totnes area over the weekend and decided to take the 3 mile hike to the local pub which was a great idea on the way there and after walking the 3 miles decided not such a great idea after all. We rang around a few companies from google searches and they weren’t very helpful at all. We then asked the staff at the pub who recommended the happy cabby. We rang and left a message and within ten minutes our call was as returned. Luckily we were squeezed in on such short notice. The taxi arrived on time and the service was ace. Very knowledgeable of the local area especially the local cycling routes. I would definitely recommend The Happy Cabby to anyone

   We had the pleasure of taking a couple of fairly long rides with Happy Cabs in recent weeks. We had two different drivers, who were a joy to spend time with in their comfortable cars. They were prompt, good to be with and got us to where we were going in plenty of time, safely, and with no stress at all.    I needed to arrange a taxi for my daughter so I emailed happycabbytaxis.co.uk to enquire about a price for a taxi between Totnes Railway Station and Slapton Ley during April 2016. A guy called Steve promptly replied with price and offered a discount for pre-booking. After a few days I contacted Steve again to book the trip and Steve was very helpful and offered to have a board ready with my daughter’s name on as she came off the train. My daughter ended up catching an earlier train so she called Steve to say she would be arriving half an hour early than planned. Steve said no problem and was there to pick her up. My daughter said the half hour drive down to Slapton was very good and Steve was really nice. I would 100% recommend Happy Cabby and will definitely use them again.
