   City Sprint were responsible for delivering soto tiles from Topps Tiles to my address. I said to the driver that they would need to come into the hallway. He immediately refused saying that COVID-19 prevented him from coming into the house whilst not wearing a mask and standing about two feet away from me. It was pouring with rain and the most he would do was drop them at the front of the garage. The carpenter who was working in my house helped me to bring them in. My points are this: 1. If I did not have a drive or a garage, would he have just left the tiles on the pavement. 2. What if I had been disabled or elderly and unable to manage the delivery. 3. If he was son bothered about COVID-19, why no mask or social distancing. I have raised my concerns with Topps Tiles as, strictly speaking, they are the customer and it reflects poorly on them. Appalling customer service ftom City Sprint and would never recommend them.

   In case you want to become a courier and "be your own boss" for this company , think about it again and again . You have to put on the table your own van (or rent a van , which I dont recommend you at all , you re not gonna earn enough to cover the weekly rental and other expenses) your courier insurrance ( again , if you havent had a van before , it s gonna be expensive ) your fuel , and other van expenses ( breaks , tyres , shock absorbers etc.) . They re gonna lie at you all the time , they act against their terms and conditions , if you refuse a job(for the reason that you dont like the money you get , or you ask for more) , you ll not get any job for a week as a punishment. Many times I ve had invoices underpaid so I had to wait for another week or sometimes they trick you to do jobs for less money and they tell you that "I ll try to pay you more " and if you take the job , basically you accept the money they offer , so you ll not get a penny more . Last time they ve tricked me to pick up for 3 deliveries from Roche to London(I ve had on my trakker only one drop at first ) , of course they charged the customer 3 times , and I got paid less than 50p per mile, the answer I ve got is "this is not your business" . Avoid this company , especially IF YOU HAVE A FAMILY , there are many other companies that you can work for .Not to mention that you ll be a self employed (forget about holiday pay , pension and other benefits .) This review is based on my experience and not only mine , just have a look on google for other reviews .
