   Lovely staff. However this is a sad tired store. Could do with some sprucing up to inject some warmth and atmosphere. Drove there especially today as Molesey store sadly shut to get lots of Christmas decorations etc. the section is tiny!! The items I wanted (red velvet bows & table runner- things most people want) weren’t there. It was a small, sad little collection when you’d have thought they’d go all out and give a whole aisle to it. Really missed a trick here! You should walk in, hear Christmas tunes. See sparkling lights. Huge displays of the Christmas decor etc you’d expect from Poundland. But nothing.

   I had a very upsetting experience at this store. A staff member named Maria treated me in a way that made me feel clearly singled out and disrespected because of my race. This kind of behavior is completely unacceptable. No customer should ever feel unsafe or discriminated against while shopping. I truly hope the management takes immediate action to address this and ensures that no one else has to go through what I did.

   So I met Maria (scruffy black hair in a ponytail with blue eyes), the queen of multitasking. She's got a PhD in ignoring customers and a minor in attitude. Highlights of our interaction: she managed to forget to scan half my stuff, gave another customer's change to me, and insult me all at once when I politely asked her to pay attention, she told me I'm not okay #AbsoluteCLOWN. I guess that’s what I get for expecting service at a retail establishment. I will be reporting her further!!!!

   Most mornings this shop put piles of rubbish in the road and block about 8 vehicle parking spaces. Why is it that they seem to be able to block the pay and display spaces most mornings for atleast an hour without any issue but if I park my car without a ticket I have either traffic wardens or cctv send me penalty fines ?

   The manager Sajid Waqas is very rude, unprofessional and only cares about hiring employees who aren't in education and who admit to stay long term without quitting. Imagine being a manager of Poundland, how sad. You'll also find his review of the store and other reviews he's written on his profile which have terrible spelling and grammar. I wonder how he became a manager...

   Cheap stuff available here and most of the times it is of very good quality. Variety is not their strength but most of the house hold, daily use items are available here. Top notch store.
