   I arrived at 710 on a Sunday. It looked open but door was locked. I called. No answer. I saw a staff member walk by and they never came to open the door. I waited for 5-10 minutes and left. It is not unreasonable to expect a shop to open when it says it is open in big white letters on the door in front of you! It is not unreasonable to expect the phone to be answered when you see a member of staff in the shop. Finally, it is also not unreasonable for said staff to leave a note on the door to alert customers if there is an issue and they are unable to open.

   If you need a quick place to top up your food then great but don't expect anything special. Fresh produce like fruit is very limited and most of the shop is stacked with ready meals and convenience foods. Very nice bakery section on the otherhand

   Lately the products they sell are out of date. Got an iceberg salad today and is black inside and has some dead insects as well..disgusting..saw some rotten tomatoes next to..Get a grip people...dont make customers sick.

   I had bought 2 packs of 2 sausage rolls from the hot counter, to have them for work the following day. Now I'm fully aware that "eat on day of purchase" means a product will not be as good a quality on a day after that day of purchase, but the following day, it was like trying to bite into granite with these rolls! I've eaten products from hot counters elsewhere on days AFTER day of purchase and they weren't as terrible a state as these. I had gone back to the store to complain about the condition of this product and was told not only could a refund not be given but not even half a replacement could be given either! Neither of the two members of staff could sanction a refund and there was no manager on site, I passed the sausage rolls back and walked out. Awful. I'd would like to receive comment from the manager of Spar in Bushey with this.

   My local shop. Lovely staff. Always helpful and friendly. Lots of different foods on offer and they also have a take-out as you enter where you can get hot snacks, coffees, bacon sarnies or rolls. They also have freshly baked croissants and baguettes and breads as well as Danish pastries. They sell wines and spirits too and always have special offers. The ATM at the back of the store is free. They don't have trolleys, only baskets. Was my local shop but I have now moved to Dorset.
