I had great experience shopping at this store . The place was clean and well organised. Stacey was especially helpful, friendly and patient, and went out of her way to make sure I found everything I needed. Excellent customer service and great value as always.

This poundland is very unreasonable, I bought two jogging jumper, which cannot be tried here because, there are no fitting rooms, I went home to try them, but it's tight and brought it back to exchange one of them atleast, they demanded receipt which I have misplaced, but the label and bank transaction was available and all the label and carrier bag shows its from the store , yet they refused to exchange it , this day and era, bank statement should be enough for prove of purchase, we hardly pay with cash. Poundland needs to modernise because for purchases that are so small , you lost receipt. Using contact less instead of cash, Bank statement should be proof of purchase. Be warned about this old system in poundland.
Poundland is lucky to have Sussan. Every time I visit she greets me with a smile that instantly brightens my day. She’s kind, friendly, and welcoming, and her positive energy makes shopping so enjoyable. I wish every employee were like Sussan. She really makes you feel valued and happy. Thank you Sussan for making every visit such a great experience.
The five star customer service award goes to HEMA. The kindest worker, with the most amazing customer friendly approach ever. We were lost and unsure with my wife, but thanks to that particular lady we got the help we needed. The shop is awesome and it has a lot of cheap stuff to buy for any reason whatsoever.
It's a Poundland ;) it isn't exactly going to win awards for the decor and shopping experience, but it is a perfectly good place to pick up some bits on a budget.
Now that they have cleared the stuff around the entrance it looks more like a shop than a warehouse. Poundland is becoming a bit of a misnomer - there are now plenty of articles priced over one pound so you have to be careful. I don't think everything is the cheapest, so it's advisable to price some of the more expensive items in other shops. Great for wandering around and buying stuff you didn't know you needed.
Although I have found eventually what I wanted, the guard was adamant that my husband carrying our miniature dachshund could not enter despite doing so many times before and in other stores without a problem.
This star not for the staff or the quality of any product, the store have lot of stuff and affordable prices My concern it’s that I don’t feel comfortable while I’m shopping, cause the security guard, first time I went to buy something specific but I didn’t find it, so I was going out the security stop and he want to search my bag I was so annoyed I thought why he did that, feel embarrassed,,, just cause I went in and out quickly doesn’t mean I steal , Today again I was doing a bit shopping and I put it on top of my child baggy the security came while I was shopping he said I can’t put this here u need a basket this the rules and policy store , I said I can’t push my child buggy and hold the basket , he said it’s rule , I said I’m not stealing, u can search it I feel bad cause people was around , I see many people around have no basket , and he didn’t go to them either, I was so upset I didn’t finish my shopping I just paid for what I got and left , No problem with staff or even the service But I won’t back cause I feel humiliated
