   We have recently started using The Groom Room Chilwell’s services again after some years away. And the second groom of our two dogs was yesterday. We were very pleased with the first groom they had back in April, and equally so with the second groom yesterday. Time and trouble is clearly taken, and the environment (which is equally important) that the dogs are groomed in is pleasant and caring. Both our dogs look great after yesterday and the staff doing the grooming are polite and easy to deal with. You definitely get the impression that customers’ dogs are in good hands while they are there. I think costs are reasonable given the context of the quality and comprehensiveness of the grooms. If it is your first visit, then be aware that the grooming area is within the Pets at Home store, up a flight of stairs, and situated in the left-hand corner. If you prefer, there is a lift to take you to the grooming area. Based upon my experience, I can thoroughly recommend The Groom Room Chilwell to others. We will certainly be using them again in the future.

   Took a very shaggy Cockapoo ( more Cocker than Poo ) into the Groom Room. Her lastgroom with another groomer had left her traumatised and made her extremely anxious if we left her. We had used the Groom Room before but tried a few others based on recommendations. Mollie needed a good groom so I rang the Groom Room explained what the issue was and they managed to squeeze Mollie in today. She initially was reluctant but a cuddle from one of the team seemed to settle her and she happily went to be showered without a backward look. It was a little longer as she was very tangled but when I went to pick her up she was behind the counter just having a wander.round. No problems with her back in the car - in fact she spent time sniffing around ( a favourite pastime ) The team there ( I’m sorry I didn’t get their names ) but they did a fabulous job and we are booked in for 8 weeks time Thank You

   Took my girl for a deshed, bath and blow dry. She came out very damp and didn’t smell like she’d had a proper wash and clearly hadn’t been deshed as she still had the same clumps of dead hair on her flanks and neck that she went in with! I will not be using the groom room again!

   Took my dog to get a wash, cut, blow dry, eyes cleaned and claws clipped. (£40) we have been here a few times before and not had an issue however this time she came out with mucky eyes still, the face and tail not touched but everywhere else of her body shaved really short. Nothing like the style we asked or what she usually has. Everything is uneven and some unusual shave marks on her legs, its quite upsetting as she did want to get out of the shop ASAP. She doesn't even smell like she's been cleaned. Might I mention she has also not stopped itching since she has come back. I have emailed the groom room and I am still awaiting a response.
