I ordered two items 1) an instax camera, and 2) some films to use with that camera. 1 second after ordering I got an email saying part of my order was cancelled - the camera and that I would get refunded within 7 days. But the rest of the order was still there and supposedly for pick up... I obviously don't need the film for the camera if you cancel the camera order... even with this the guys wouldn't give me a refund for the films. Basically thieves these people

Dear Argos managers, could you please update your document policy. From Jan 2024, the Home office doesn’t provide physical document (BRP - british resident permit) to people with immigration status. They give e-visa(electronic) - electronic proof of immigration status. I had two incidents in the store because of it. Like how can I show you a physical document, if government doesn’t give it to me. The home office says that e-visa(electronic visa) is considered legal document to show immigration status.

I went to collect my product if £58.99 that I paid online. apparently doesn’t give me a bag nothing like that and tells me it’s 40p for a bag nothing sure if this Asian guy was making lies up or not. It’s not that Asian guy who look rude. despite I paid £58 for a video game obviously I want a bag and not want to carry a expensive item with that money paid after

Extremely disappointing experience at Argos – 45 Whitechapel Road I had to return a faulty iron three times to this store, causing me to lose time from work and spend over £20 in travel costs. After the first faulty item, I was wrongly accused of dropping it, but they exchanged it only after I mentioned my rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015. The replacement came in a damaged box, which I photographed in-store. Once home, I video recorded the unboxing, and again the iron didn’t work properly, despite following the manual. I had to travel another 45 minutes to return it again today. When I politely raised the issue of inconvenience and travel costs, the manager Mirza became rude, defensive, and unhelpful, claiming they were “doing me a favour” and that I wasn’t entitled to anything if they tested it and it was working. He accused me of being a difficult rude customer and only when I began recording the encounter did his attitude change and he started acting more responsibly. He then told me to return after 4:00 p.m. for a replacement. This whole process was stressful, time-wasting, and handled poorly. A manager should treat customers respectfully and uphold their legal rights—not only start acting appropriately when being recorded. The Store does not deserve 1 Star as I have seen that there are many more complaints about the same manager Mirza at the same store regarding the same sort of issues and no action seems to have been taken. I have escalated a formal complaint to Argos Customer Services and await a response. I haven't opened the new iron yet—but the service experience alone deserves a 1-star rating.

I’ve going going to this Argos store for many years now and the staffs are always very friendly and helpful. One downside is that a lot of their products are now not in store and you have to either order and get it delivered to your house or come the next day to collect it from the store. Overall it’s a decent Argos store.

Very very worst tu service. Dont return your tu items to this shop. They will never give receipt and your money will not be refunded. You have to call tu and explain the process with the date and time you return the item. and they will check cctv to find actually you returned. They cant even provide a return receipt. Such a worst process i never buy from TU again.

Manager “Mirza/Mizan” tells me it to return a product from the store I bought it from ? Lol! Please don’t try shove problems to other people. You all work for one company. I read the reviews of this store beforehand and it absolutely stands! Guy has no clue what policy to follow. Tons of other errors made.

The manager refused a return & refund which complies with Argos terms and conditions. As a matter of fact, the return & refund is possible in another Argos without discussions. Highly unprofessional and ultimately illegal. I recommend avoiding this Argos.
