When into the Sidcup poundland shop the shop was clean and tidy ... the the member of staff that was on the self service was in my personal space... I did say to her I new what I was doing... but she kept picking up my itemsI think she thought I was taking something ...(I wish I had waited for the nice lady on the till... ) even when I payed she insisted in picking my things up... she didn't do it to other people before me... I was made to feel I had taken something...I wish I taken her name I was in the shop at 12.43..
This place seems to have a problem with marking prices. I bought some spots, took them to the self-service checkout. The price was different from the one marked. Unfortunately the place was so busy and staff so rushed, so in the end I had to give up. Not impressed

In this shop in sidcup station I have found cheaper cable by 1,5 and for wash very cheaper I recommend it I saw knitting thread very cheap
Most Poundland stores are pretty much the same, so you know what to expect. There are some odd differences, like one branch will never have a particular product in stock, while the one a short distance away up the road will always have it. There's always some decent stuff though which undercuts the supermarkets, though recently certain products have been shrunk down just for the pound shops (Walkers crisps multi-packs now have just four measly bags in them), and now aren't even worth a quid. It seems a lot of the Poundland staff generally don't have English as a first language, which is why I imagine they can be quite stand-offish, and will ignore you completely unless you need to ask them something. If you look like you can't find an item, they will never approach and ask if they can help you. Overall, a decent enough shop providing a few essentials a little bit cheaper.
