Lovely restaurant with great menu choices. Very attentive staff with swift service and very generous portions. Cakes too tempting but we took some away for later. Highly recommend.
Enjoyed coffee and custard slice here with a friend last Saturday. The coffee was lovely and hot. There is a fantastic selection of cakes and pastries. The staff were pleasant and friendly. Lisbon has a great vibe about it and was busy. If you are in the vicinity give it a try, you won't be disappointed. We will definitely be back when we are in Plymouth.
We stopped for coffee and pastry and it was very difficult to make a choice amongst so many delicious treats in the counter! What a lovely gem in Plymouth with authentic and proper Portuguese sweets and pastries. Everything was yummy and the staff were very friendly and welcoming. We will definitely be back!
If there was ever a textbook definition of a perfect fish, the grilled bream here would be it! The skin was so crispy, and the simplicity of lemon and salt really allowed the fish’s flavour to stand out. We also ordered the bitoque and I LOVED the rice. It was very fragrant and flavourful, while the steak was covered in a creamy and slightly sour sauce. Normally I don’t like sour flavours that much but this sauce had just the right amount! I don’t know why but I couldn’t stop eating the fries as well! The temperature inside was a bit hot but there’s outdoor seats which would be cooler. The environment and decor was very comfortable though, and it seems like a place where locals frequent. I really liked the giant palmier from the bakery and I’ll have to come back with an empty stomach to try the rest of the baked goods! I also loved that there’s a little grocery area because I’ve never tried Portuguese drinks before and I was able to buy some juice to bring home!

I stopped there in the afternoon by the way. I had a mini pastries, orange muffin and coffee. The pastries were old and no tasty. The orange muffin was dull. Coffee was OK but nothing special. In the coffee shop and independent business I would expected better quality for both. Only the garden was nice. I will no come back.
Nice little place situated in west end of city centre. Seating on the inside and also outside . Some with cover and some without. But plenty. Staff are nice and efficient. I ordered my food and drink. ( coffee and bacon and egg baguette). Did not have to wait long for either. All freshly done and hot. Other food that came to other tables looked and and well presented. Give it a try it don't think you will be disappointed. I know I will go back.
Very good price breakfast and tasty food. Lots of Portuguese cakes and pastries to choose from and other Portuguese food. They also sell Portuguese products in store. Worth a visit and have a Pastel de nata as well!
Went here for first time after reading reviews. What a little gem! Family run. Fast service, really pleasant atmosphere. Coffee is piping hot and delicious. Food is absolutely stunning. And the desserts and pastries are to die for! Highly recommended. We will be regulars now!
Delicious ham and cheese omelette baguette. Really tasty. Tuna mayonnaise and egg toastie was really good too. And excellent black Americano coffee. I had to have a second cup! I'm not surprised that it had a constant supply of customers in the restaurant and in the bakery. Looking forward to another visit soon .
