   I cannot thank the team enough for looking after my dog so well. Our normal kennels closed which meant we had to find a new one but also for a 3 week stay which our dog has never done and to put it bluntly he’s a big baby around strangers. I received contact and photos while we were away which 100% eased our minds and meant we could relax too. When we went to pick him up he was so happy and smelt and felt beautiful as he’d a bath also - thank you so much and we will deff be using you again when we need a kennels or cattery.

   Sarah and her team are genuine dog lovers who provide such a warm and homely environment. From the very beginning, we felt completely confident leaving Bailey in their care, whether for a short stay or a longer holiday. Bailey absolutely loves going there – she trots off happily without a backward glance, as if setting off on her own little holiday. Knowing she is so well cared for and content gives me complete peace of mind. I’m I cannot recommend Sarah and her team highly enough – they are truly wonderful.

   Our 2 dogs have stayed at Birchwood boarding kennels at least 3 times a year for the last 6 years. When we arrive with the dogs, the dogs are always excited and happily go off to their kennel after having a good fuss from the very friendly staff. We know the dogs are being looked after well, which means we can relax on holiday. Thank you to Sarah and all the staff, see you soon x

   We can’t thank Sarah, Ross and the team enough for looking after our rescue dog cheeky Chico for 3 weeks! Birchwood is an amazing kennels, where nothing is too much trouble. Photos and updates kindly sent and although we thought of him whilst away, we never worried as we knew he was being so well cared for. With Chico being a rescue we were anxious leaving him in Kennels, but were confident Sarah and the team would look after him as he was their own. We can’t recommend the Kennels highly enough to anyone who wants their dog to have a happy holiday too!

   We used the cattery back in August 2022. It was the first time leaving our 1yr old cat. The staff were lovely and the place was really clean and tidy. They have an area for them to exercise and run around. All non related cats are boarded separately too. They do offer to use the kennels food to feed them , but I took our kitty's own food as she's really fussy. The price was very good too. We have booked her in again for August 2023 for a little longer this time with peace of mind she is looked after very well. Would highly recommend. The only thing I would say is I would have preffered it if you could drop them off a little earlier in the mornings, as it means we've had to leave her for an extra night, due to travelling early in the morning. But that's only because I will miss her :-)

   Wouldn't use anywhere else for our much loved Labrador. He's always well looked after, and jumps out of the car wagging his tail as soon as we arrive to drop him off. Leaving him with Sarah and her team takes away all the worry of leaving out baby behind. Honestly don't know what we would do if we couldn't take him here when we jet off on our annual holiday. I'd highly recommend to anyone

   Fantastic staff, and excellent facilities and even more important the pets are well looked after. Both our pets love the place which can be seen when they arrive, so excited.    Our dogs and cat have stayed at Birchwood Kennels and Cattery more times than I can remember. Everything and I genuinely mean everything about the Kennels and Cattery is fantastic. Owners and Staff clearly love animals, you can see that it’s more than just a business. We’ve even driven over an hour to ensure that our pets are well looked after by Sarah and the Staff at Birchwood. Really can’t recommend highly enough.

   I left my two cat's with Birchwood for the first time a couple of weeks ago and I am very impressed with their kennels and the amazing way they were looked after. My two are house cats and therefore don't really mix with other cats and were undoubtedly nervous....as was I! They didn't mind that I phoned to see how they were settled and they were very honest and said that one of them hadn't eaten much but that was no surprise seeing as it was the first time away for them and she is a bit tubby so she had a little in reserve! I would recommend Birchwood and will be using them again in December for another few days. They followed their diets to the letter. Very special place and very special carers....thank you all for looking after Minty and Merlin.
