   I like coming to Pets At Home in Paignton. The staff are friendly and they love to have that conversation with you about the pet that you own and can help you find what you are looking for from food, toys and leads etc. They have got a lovely collection of Christmas treats for each pet ranging from food and toys so quickly go and grab what you need for your pet this Christmas so you don't miss out.

   Really helpful staff. Answered all the questions I had about rabbits care. Then the guy on the checkout helped me set up a loyalty card account which got me over 20% of my transaction which wasn't a small amount. They went above and beyond to be helpful.

   The staff in store were helpful initially and sold us 4 female guinea pigs as a group. Squabbles developed after a few weeks and eventually all 4 were fighting. When we contacted the store for advice they were extremely unhelpful. Basically said if they didn't get on we would have to keep all 4 separately. Despite advising in store that they should live in groups. Now we have discovered that one of the ”girls” is a boy which explains a lot. After sales care very poor

   Wouldn’t let me buy fish as I didn’t know how many litres my tank has. I said I have 3foot x 15” x15” but that wasn’t enough info. I said I’ve been keeping fish 40yrs and was then made to feel small by girl saying “and you don’t know how many litres?” I said I’ve never been asked before and she replied we always ask. I could have just googled it but felt so insulted I just left. Previously always had good service but not this time. Very unsatisfied ex customer.

   Nothing but praise for the groom room staff and the excellent service they provide. The care and attention given to my elderly extremely nervous spaniel was amazing, comforting and above and beyond my expectations. They listened completely about his needs and he had a marvelous groom and nails cut carefully.

   Brilliant service. Went to have a look at hamsters and we where helped by a lady called Hannah. She was really helpful and went above and beyond answering our questions, even those from our excited children. Ended up getting hamsters as the help was so good! Highly recommended the staff and their care.
