A good kebab. However i did notice the owner shaving off from a frozen kebab that was on the skewer and putting if into the microwave! To cook it quicker!
Phoned at 17.50 for a delivery. Waited an hour for delivery and then phoned for an update. They said it had just left but 40 minutes later it still hadn’t arrived so I phoned again and they said they had no record of my order!!!! After 2 hours we were starving so had to tell them to forget it as I was going to have to cook something myself. We had not eaten since 10am so really couldn’t wait another 2 hours for food. It’s just not on.
Got large munch box. First though opening it up, everything is boxed within the pizza box lol chips overcooked and stale. Chicken pakora overcooked to chewy. Chicken Tika curtousy of the microwave. Kebab meat was nice. You got a lot of little vegetable samosas and rolls but the kind of thing you get from Iceland super cheap and basic. Salad was nice and so was the garlic sauce. The naan bread isn't naan, it's seems to be cooked on flat top so it's super stody and unpleasant, smelled like whatever was previously fried on the surface which was kinda fishy smelling. Overall not impressed won't be ordering from here again. This photo is with 2 adults & 2 kids eating at it, wasn't popular lol
I live in the area and had never heard of them before, Would normally go to the likes of Sphinx for a kabab. Having not had one in a while this one hit the spot. I tried their Donor Kabab on chips with kabab sauce and it was incredible. Portion size was amazing too, just on the cusp of being too much for even someone with a big appetite to eat. Will get again!
Well the best thing is they have kids menu, for two people the box is quite good deal as well. Doner kebab is the best one.. recommend. Though they dont have dinning place so you have to order online or collect by yourself. Naan bread is a class its fresh. Staff is nice and friendly
Only gave it 1 star as theres no options for a 0, Ordered a kebab out of here on sat.nite, been in bed with bad food poisoning ever since, never had a problem before, will never be back.
Update: Sauce was good again, not 5 stars due to the inconsistency as £10 is a lot for a kebab when the sauce isn’t right but hopefully good from now on. Last comment: Kebab sauce has got worse recently. This would be 5 stars usually for the steak kebabs on chips. Good size portions, with nice meat, chips and sauce. However the last two times I have been in recent weeks the house sauce has changed. Hopefully this isn’t a permanent recipe change as the sauce was great before and next time would be my last if it is. Just my feedback
Ordered a chicken kebab from here (which was the only thing I’d ate that day) and not even 10 hours later my stomach was in bits, was in complete agony with cramps and have been so violently sick. Was absolutely shocked to see actual bits of raw chicken in my vomit. Have been in bed with severe food poisoning for 2 days now, I never been so ill in my life, I cannot even keep water down. WILL NOT BE BACK
The staff was friendly, the portions were very generous. The Naan still reminded me more of pita bread than what I would typically find at an Indian restaurant. No place to sit or eat, just take away.
Wish id read the reviews before getting from here...I dont know what that chicken is supposed to be but it doesnt taste like chicken and it certainly doesnt look like chicken.Disgusting......Chips looked a little undercooked but were actually quite nice.
