   First time there last week, didn't need to book , the atmosphere was lovely with christmas songs playing. The staff where so helpful. Portion sizes where big and was delicious. I got fish and chips and my hubby got the sirloin steak. Will most definitely be back.

   Visiting and decided to try something, weather was totally mad with heavy rain so came here because it was close to the hotel, and thank god we did. This is hands down, genuinely one of the best beef burgers I’ve ever had. It was so well seasoned and prepared. The bacon was absolutely amazing, the cheese was great. I got the bbq seasoned fries and they were done perfectly. Crunch on the outside but soft in the middle. My partner had a chicken burger and absolutely loved it, couldn’t finish it was so big but such good value for money. Our server Sarah was absolutely fantastic too, really friendly, really chatty, made us feel at home and didn’t pressure us into eating here when we initially seemed unsure. I really can’t recommend this place highly enough. 5 stars.

   Sliders were amazing, chicken amazing, Louisiana Prawns starter amazing as always. We had the starter with a side as a meal, it's definitely worth going for that sauce alone

   I have dined here a few times with the family and I have to say the food is great and the Staff are the nicest I have encountered in quite a few years. Nothing is too much trouble and they seem to be happy and want to be there. I would recommend. Price is good too.

   Lovely dinner, chicken on a bed of mash with peppercorn sauce was beautiful, then had apple crumble, was nice but bit much cinnamon in it fior my liking and not enough crumble. Would definitely go back though

   Had a family lunch here it was beautiful and lots of it. Very friendly and helpful server so thank you Sarah. Also,thanks for bringing my car keys out to me,I'd unknowingly dropped them. Would definitely recommend a visit.

   We visited Josh Macs on a Tuesday evening at 5pm, just at opening time. We were greeted and seated to our table promptly. Service was good and with a smile. Our Drinks order was taken while we decided on our main course. The menu was quite extensive, and typical grill style. Plenty of selection from steaks, ribs, sizzle plates etc. There was also a pizza menu but we were not getting pizza on this occassion. I opted for the classic chicken stack, that is battered chicken over mash peppered sauce and tobacco onions. My mother ordered the sirloin steak with thick cut chips. The food was very tasty and the service attentive. We ordered desserts which were just OK, they felt bought in opposed to made in house. I went for the sticky toffee pudding and my mother the chocolate brownie. Every dessert option contained ice cream. The desserts were just OK and this is the only reason this is not a 5* review. The restaurant was filled nicely by time were were leaving we will be sure to be back. Thank you for a lovely meal. .
