   I’ve been registered with South Moor Vets for nearly 20 years, and I honestly can’t recommend them highly enough. The entire team is consistently helpful, knowledgeable, friendly and kind — from the moment you speak to reception right through to seeing the vets themselves and any required aftercare with the nurses etc. They are always realistic and transparent, and genuinely try to find affordable, sensible solutions wherever possible, without ever compromising the health or welfare of my dogs (or my purse). Over the years I’ve had more than a few ‘little dramas’ (dogs will be dogs), yet somehow they have always managed to fit me in within hours of a phone call. Their care, professionalism and compassion have always given me complete confidence that my dogs are in the best hands and I wouldn’t choose to go anywhere else.

   On holiday from Newcastle on Tyne and Hettie had a wee slip with her rear left leg. South Moor we're able to fit me in the same day and carried out a full inspection. Fortunately, no serious damage incurred and rest was recommended.

   We were on holiday locally and had a scare with Tess. We rang the vets and their support was amazing. We were able to take Tess straight in and she was seen immediately. The vet we saw was calm and very knowledgeable. She treated Tess who made a full recovery. I cannot rate the practice highly enough.

   We were on holiday and arrived as an emergency without an appointment. Warmly welcomed by both the staff and the vet who saw us straight away, the vet was extremely professional, knowledgeable and with a lovely nature. We felt at ease immediately and highly recommend South Moor Vets in Kingsbridge, in fact we already have recommended you to a perfect stranger that we met in Dartmouth for the day who had her own dog and moved to the area 6 months ago! We would definitely spread the word further if we were here longer! Thank you again.

   I would like to give my thanks to Georgia and Isobel who I interacted with, as well as the male vet who kindly answered the phone. All showed great professionalism throughout. Because I was in a blackspot for connectivity in Slapton, I asked if we could communicate via WhatsApp using Wi-Fi, and they adapted and accommodated this so well, which really helped me in my distress over my cat. Romeo had run through a bramble and sustained a nasty scratch to his eye. Even though I made, cancelled, and then re-made an appointment, the team were nothing but friendly and professional at all times. The consultation itself was superb – Isobel was professional yet also gentle and loving towards Romeo. I could not have asked for a better experience, and I was very satisfied with the cost too.
