   Took our team of U16 rugby players and our coaches along for a post season social. They all had an amazing time, enjoying the thrills and wipeouts of white water rafting.    Brilliant to watch in full flow. I was cold in the 2C air, the water must have been even colder but several people were on the course practicing in and out of the gates held by the overhead cables. Amazing to watch, I took several short videos from the bottom of the course upstream. A really good winter walk…

   It's a beautiful place, even more when canoeing/dragon racing/rowing events are taking place. Oh! and sun; there's ice cream nearby too! Not quite so nice in low temperatures with snow in your face powered by a strong, feezing, easterly wind.... unless that's your 'thing'.

   I booked white water rafting for my sister's hen party and it was FAB! We hired all 4 boats and each of the guides who took us down the rapids was super nice and friendly, making the experience really enjoyable for everyone. The girls and I loved it and we definitely made some memories! Great fun!
