   KITT Hill Castle kennels were recommended to us by a veterinary nurse. Having contacted them they arranged for us to visit to have a look around and so they could meet our Dolly, just 6 months old. We left her there for 7 nights with a collection of her favourite toys and a few things with familiar smells. We emailed a nunber of times whilst away, each one answered within minutes providing much needed relief. We collected her at an agreed time and my she'd grown and looked happy. The only down side was she smelled a bit wiffy when we picked her up. Happy with the service and value for money. She's booked in again the end of October

   Not a great experience, I was told to email To check up on our 2 week holiday and not one email got a reply! Decided to phone in the end and a girl answered and didn’t give me info, however the guy I spoke to on the phone was a lot better. The main concern is he said our dog was not distressed and he didn’t bark, when we picked our dog up he had lost his voice and couldn’t bark! So clearly he was barking and distressed with the situation. Took about 3 weeks to get his voice back!! We won’t be able to do kennels again so next time we will try a trusted house sitter!

   Our greyhound lad is very well looked after as a regular. The staff are very attentive and lovely! Everything is really tailored to him and everything he needs. It's so reassuring to know he's in very good, caring hands! The staff are also very nice to us humans too!

   Great service, they managed to fit our 2 dogs in at the last minute over Christmas having never used them before, on collecting our dogs they knew everything about them and the dogs came out happy and almost reluctant to leave.    We booked our 2 dogs in for 8 days, slightly apprehensive after a different experience elsewhere. We opted for kennels this time as felt they may feel better just on their own. The communication with Dawn and the team was brilliant before hand answering any questions I had. Drop off was very simple and quick yet thorough and they went through everything that would happen and listened to any worries/routines we had. On pick up the boys came bounding out wagging tails, healthy looking and not smelly (which had happened at the previous place and my main concern) they had clearly been looked after well, they have come home and not been in a mood with us either! We will definitely use kit hill for all our holidays now and recommend to friends and family. Thank you guys! Winston, Hugo and humans!
