Rude staff with management that’s even ruder, constant queues at the tills only ever seems to be one till operator. Stock constantly stacked on shelves in the wrong place which then leads to arguments at the tills about prices. Best one is when you try to buy a can of monster advertised for £1 on the shelf and it’s £1.35 at the tills and they won’t honour the label on the shelf they then remove the label off the shelf and refuse to sell it you

Lovely staff found everything I needed, quick in and out, what's not to like.

A large poundland store including Pep&Co clothing. There's a good range of low priced clothing for kids and adults, including accessories and shoes. There's also home and garden stuff, toiletries, stationery, sweets and dry food, and a small freezer and fridge section. I thought there wasn't a great range in the frozen and fridge food, but I guess not many people do their weekly shop there. Not too busy on a Saturday. Loads of free parking.

Went fairly late in the evening midweek about 7pm and was deserted inside so zero stress looking for what I wanted in the paper/stationary section without screaming kids about. Spent about 50 quid and got everything I wanted easily. Was served by a lovely young lady that greeted me with a smile and was professional and helped me put everything in my bags safely. Recommended to go around this time of day for stress free shopping.

BE CAREFUL OF THE OFFER BINS NEAR THE DOOR. I picked up 2 boxes of skinny whip bars clearly marked at a pound each. At the till they tried charging £1.50. I complained and was told another customer had dumped this flavour in the cheap bin. The actual shelves are further in store, so someone supposedly walked passed these bins went to the shelves grabbed 4 packs and then came back to the bins near the entrance to dump them and then walk off ..... just admit your staff made an error and apologise, rather than blaming other customers.

Awful store! Had to wait for 10 minutes to be served. There was 8 people in the queue and one cashier. When another cahsier finally came along after 5 minutes he took the person behind me and asked them to go to the next till. I was 3rd in the queue and they for 4th! There is a slow moving queue everytime I go in and on previous occasions I have walked out. Also the store may be big in terms of footprint but there are nonextra product's, it's all just spread out. Go to home bargains it's much better

This poundland store is largest one among other stores. And have some quite variety.

This is a cracking store, big and spacious unlike the slightly shabby smaller / older stores. BUT. Not everything is £1!! What's up with that. It's always worth checking prices elsewhere because there's no doubt some stuff is overpriced (food aisle especially) & having clothing is an interesting turn but the quality isn't all that on some items (think Nylon / Rayon) so again...compare with Primark / George etc before purchasing. Every penny counts during this cost of living crisis.

We went in as we had been told they did cloths, and we we're looking for outfit for our 17 yr old lad, great success in finding him suitable stuff, but for 60yr old man like me, not much range.
