Sam listened to what I wanted, gave me suggestions, kept me updated on progress and made me a new ring that I love, and more importantly, so does my wife!    I have travelled around the world from New Zealand to Mongolia to Canada to Iceland, and the jewellery here is definitely most spectacular. There is beauty and soul in each piece of these artisan work. The art work, sea glass, silverwork are made by this amazingly talented artist Sam. I came back two days consecutively as I cannot find better gifts anywhere else at the Barbican. I would highly recommend this shop, and to leave Plymouth without visiting this special shop or purchasing something from here will be the greatest regret of any holiday maker.

   I had such an amazing time at the ring-making workshop with Sam Birch Jewellery! The whole experience was so much fun and incredibly insightful. Sam is not only super knowledgeable, but also really welcoming and attentive throughout the entire process. I loved learning all about the different techniques and getting hands-on with the tools – it was a great creative escape. Sam made the workshop feel relaxed and encouraging, and I came away with a ring I’m really proud of. Highly recommend to anyone looking for a unique and inspiring experience!

   Sam made my partner and I a pair of handcrafted silver rings for our wedding. Sam walked us through the whole process of deciding a style, size and fitting. There are so many beautiful pieces in Sam’s shop, yet having something made as a one-off meant so much to us. We are so pleased that we chose Sam to craft our wedding rings, I would recommend her over and over again if I could!

   Sam makes the most wonderful jewellery and puts her heart into each piece she produces. Sam made the rings shown for my Daughter's graduations for her degree and masters. Much better than the mass produced ones that were available to buy from the University machine. Sam's rings are unique. Treat yourself or a loved one.

   I was given a workshop voucher as a Christmas gift and thoroughly enjoyed my afternoon with Sam. She helped me make a pair of lovely silver earrings, from cutting the silver sheet, using tools to make my design, to the final polishing. Sam is super friendly and patient. Would highly recommend her workshops, and a gift voucher makes a great, memorable present. Thanks Sam.

   Sam is an amazing and athletic silver jewellery maker with her own magical and rustic style. She is always willing to accommodate any style that you want. My partner has recently bought me a ring from her collection that I absolutely love. It has a peace of blue sea glass in the setting from Cawsand which I love. I would highly recommend Sam's jewellery and will be buying more in the future for myself family and friends
