This is a very comfortable, well equipped house. We had 5 adults staying and 8 around the table for Christmas dinner and it all worked really well. There was even a really nice Christmas tree waiting! The beds have high quality mattresses and bedding, the kitchen has everything you might need (bar a magimix), it's extremely warm, with up to date electrics, plumbing and heating and a very cosy wood burner. The views are beautiful - wonderful sunsets. It was great to be able to let our dog out safely in the garden. There are great walks to the cliffs and tin mines below - quite a sight and not entirely expected - but actually an interesting addition to the landscape. If anything this property is nicer than the online pictures as you can't see that there is very good lamp lighting in the sitting room and pleasant pictures. We enjoyed all of the sea orientated decorations too! There was a problem with the smoke alarms cheeping but someone came round promptly to fix it - on Christmas Eve. Communication is very good and the owners and rental agents extremely helpful. The only thing we would suggest is slightly better quality sofas to match the beds and perhaps some lower lighting or dimmer switch in the kitchen. But these are minor suggestions - this was a great stay and in an excellent property.

We had a fantastic stay at Lillie’s Lookout on the Cornish Tin Coast, between St Just and Pendeen. The contact with The Cornish Way was brilliant from the start — really friendly communication and plenty of helpful information before our trip, which made everything easy and stress-free. Lillie’s Lookout itself was exactly as advertised — in fact, even nicer than in the photos. Cosy, snuggly and beautifully located, it was equipped with everything you could possibly need. The view over meadows reaching to the sea and horizon is absolutely fantastic, and we felt instantly relaxed. In the mornings, you might even find a herd of grazing cows looking at you from just beyond the boundary of the property — a wonderfully idyllic touch. Even our dog didn’t want to leave when it was time to go. Huge thanks to the owners, John and Di, who were so quick to help with anything and always up for a friendly chat. Highly recommend both The Cornish Way and Lillie’s Lookout — we’re already looking forward to returning.

Skyber was the most beautiful and special holiday home we could have wished for. It has been finished to an exceptionally high standard — we were truly blown away. Every detail has been thoughtfully designed with impeccable taste, from the crockery and the sofa to the artwork on the walls. The garden and surrounding views are stunning, and the sauna room was the perfect finishing touch — a real treat. Honestly, the photos don’t do this place justice. We also loved The Cornish Way’s partnership with The Cornish Food Box — such a fantastic idea, we enjoyed the arrivals box. Overall, an excellent agency to deal with. We wouldn’t hesitate to book again!

The Secret Garden in Penzance was a wonderful place for two people, spacious, nicely presented with every little detail thought of. A good kitchen and large, lovely bathroom. Marvellously situated for easy access to the sea front and Jubilee pool as well as the town centre and galleries. A 20 minute walk along to Newlyn to buy fresh fish or visit the Tolcarne Inn for first class seafood. The Cornish Way people were very easy to deal with and very helpful. This was our second booking with them and I dare say we’ll be using them again. No more Air B&B for us!

The woodcutters cabin is one of the most charming places I have stayed - the interior is lovely and the architecture inside and out is amazing. The outside bath was a wonderful place for peace and relaxation. The cabin is very well equipped and we wanted for nothing. The gardens are expansive and very beautiful. Two things to note for visitors are that the owners house is in close proximity and the garden is shared with the main house. The cabin itself is very private and the owners are delightful, warm and friendly. There are lots of wonderful beaches and coves to explore and the owners are very helpful at giving tips of where to go.

Had an amazing stay at The Engine House in Marazion, Cornwall. What a beautiful place to stay for some relaxation away from the crowds. It is set in beautiful gardens that you are able to explore and relax in. The property itself was beautifully maintained and comfortable and fulfilled all our needs. Andy, the owner of the property was friendly and accommodating but our privacy was respected. Would definitely consider staying here again and highly recommend it.

We have had an amazing week at Wayside House. It was like home from home and has clearly been lovingly and tastefully furnished, decorated and equipped by the owners to a very high standard and with lots of personal flourishes which you don’t usually find in holiday properties. Nothing has been overlooked which made this such a pleasurable stay. The wood burning stove in the lounge meant cosy evenings watching TV on a wide screen with sound bar or listening to music on the blue tooth speaker. The kitchen is a treat to cook in with views onto the large rear garden which has great sitting areas and plenty of space for the kids to play. It is a perfect family house with children’s toys and books in the bunk bedroom as well as plenty of games . But it would be equally good for groups of friends given its 4 bedrooms and two bathrooms. We loved the informative guide put together by the owners with personal favourite places to visit and great places to eat.. We couldn’t recommend this house more highly and the bonus is that it is in such a fabulous location accessible to the whole of the Lands End and Lizard peninsulas. We will be back.

My husband and I spent a week at The New Forge from 11/2/22. What an amazing place! We chose this accommodation as we did not want to spend the week in the car. Walks directly from the cottage and the beautiful Gwynver beach just minutes away. We know the area quite well and the area is much better for winter walks than the South coast as it is not “boggy” along this stretch of the coastal path. The barn is beautiful. What makes it extra special is that it feels like a much loved home rather than a generic holiday cottage. The fixtures and fittings are all top quality. The bathroom is fabulous and the wood burner is very efficient. The kitchen is a joy to cook in. We did not manage to sit in the lovely garden which is enclosed. Our two Cavapoos managed to crawl under the gate and went to pay the next door neighbour a visit. Luckily he likes dogs. I must say, however, that most dogs would be unable to do this. Our boys are expert escapologists ! The bed is very comfortable and the sunrise , viewed from the comfort of bed, is amazing. My ambition was to stay long enough to read the vast collection of books. Sadly, we only had a week. We did not discover any negatives concerning the barn and will certainly be back. The Cornish Way is the best cottage rental agency we have dealt with ( and we come to Cornwall a lot). They were extremely responsive and a pleasure to deal with. Thank you to all

Lovely place to stay to enjoy the beauty of Sennen Cove. Perfect size for a family of 4 with young kids (ours 11& 13). Cody & warm even at the end of January! Only put the Logburner on once for effect, far too warm, had to open the windows!! Only negatives, and these are relatively small. It is positioned in a turning place for the local buses, taxis, bin lorries & fire engines! So don’t expect a lie in!! Chances are you’ll be woken by a reversing signal, at some point. Only other issue we had was trying to find how to switch the electric on for the cooker, hob & washing machine! Not immediately obvious, and a worthy note for the owners to maybe put a small sign to show where they are. Behind the microwave, if you need to know! Both the owners & Cornish Way were fabulous and would highly recommend them for anybody looking for accommodation in this beautiful part of the world! Big thank you to Lowenna @ Cornish Way & the owners for being so accommodating & helpful.

Amazing service from start to finish! Communication was on point, the Piggery was exactly what I imagined it to be and more which made spending our first New Years away together even more special. The welcome pack was very informative and the little gift left for us was gratefully received. 100% recommend this local company. The bed was comfy, it was lovely and warm and very clean. Cant wait to book again!!
