A pet supply store containing a wide selection of pet products. Very well stocked for dogs and cats, and also have a good range of supplies for small animals, pet birds, and reptiles. Easily accessible for those with a car. Not as convenient and easy to reach if you are visiting on public transport. You have a walk from the main Abbey centre complex.
My review is for the 'dog groomers' at the Newtownabbey store. My daughter took her pup in for a tidy up. She was advised that he was in need of a tight trim which despite the weather was the best solution. The final result was nothing short of diabolical. He has cuts & grazes in 4 separate areas. Under his shoulder, along his belly around his groin and on his testes. His fur is patchy & had he come out of a sheep shearing competition looking like that you would have been angry. The deputy manager was exceptionally helpful and was as shocked as me by the atrocious standard of 'grooming'. I was reimbursed the £45 but I will NEVER take either of my dogs there again. If there was an option for negative stars I would have used it. I think that a 1 star review is exceptionally generous.
Love bringing our dog here. He sniffs his way around and doesn't touch a thing until he reaches the very friendly staff at the till, then he sits patiently waiting for his treats...
Had my 2 dogs in groomers over the last week and between Nick and Rhiannon, I couldn't pick better people to look after my dogs. I've spent years looking for groomers to look after 1 of my dogs specifically, and Rhiannon was just absolutely amazing. Can't thank them enough, and I can't wait to use them again.
We always get our dog food here. They moved from nearby, Glengormley. They had an app introduced, like most stores seem to, which you would think they could just scan and let you get your points. Now the policy seems to be to verbally ask for your postcode and confirm your name. Individuals with anxiety issues, who like the anonymity of the app, might not be comfortable speaking in front of a line of people and let them know who you are. Well stocked though.

This shop is brilliant for everything pets at very good price's they always have what we are looking for
The new jolleys is ok. It doesn't stock the brand of dog food that my dog eats anymore which is very disappointing. They were a few puddles of dog pee here and there throughout the store which needed addressed.
