   Staff not pleasant & you can tell they really don't like their work. Not very pleasant with dogs either, rough handling and no communication with them especially to reassure and calm down. Place is far too small..not suitable for so many customers.

   Oh Dear, been using this grooming service for years but no more! Left our dog in and advised to return at 115. They took my number and I presumed they would ring if we were late as they had done previously. On arriving at 145 we after having to pick up my wife from work we were advised of a late fee. I had previously arrived on time here but was kept waiting for over half an hour however it appears the late fee only works one way! Oh, the late fee clause is not posted in the premises but is on the contract.

   I would definitely recommend the Belfast Groom room at Pets at Home Boucher Store - staff are friendly and professional and I’m always happy with how my dogs are groomed. I have two, Poppy and Cleo, both rescues so they can be anxious and hate to be left so I like the set up it feels nice and secure and often I get can them done in a joint appointment.

   If there was a minus rating here I would give it. I left my border collie in for a groom: wash, brush, nails and paws tidied, and any mats that might have been found to be cut out if they couldn’t be brushed out, though I didn’t expect any. To say I was horrified when I got her back is to put it mildly. Her whole coat had been “trimmed”; around her face was uneven - apart from it not needing to be done, when I went to pick her up there were two different team members trying to trim the hair around her face. Worst of all was what was done to her tail. A straight cut that just look awful. Not to mention her entire belly was shaved. Border Collies, as a breed, should not be cut unless medically necessary. They have a double coat which serves a very good purpose. The hair will not grow back in the same way and can cause multiple problems, not to mention that it could take a few years (yes, years!) For her coat to grow back and it will likely not return to what it was.I would have expected a supposedly professional groomers to know this. Let’s just hope this summer is full and grey so she doesn’t have any issues with sun damage to her skin as a result of the hair removed! Additionally, my other dog who was also to have a nail clip and paw tidy only had one side done! Yes, his left side nails were trimmed and paws tidied, the right side were left untouched. I will never be back here, and would not recommend anyone else to bring their dogs here either. See photos of the horrific work done to her tail. I’m absolutely disgusted at what they have done to my dog.

   I brought by (rather large) pup to Leah on Christmas Eve for a bath and brush, my pup can be very skiddish and unsure of new people, new dogs and loud noises. Given her size she tends to be hard to manage when she's stressed. Leah took her at check in and I told her my concerns about how my pup may get on but was assured me she would be given extra time and care. When I went back to collect her, I was greeted by a very happy and well groomed dog, who was clearly very comfortable and had definitely been treated like a princess!! Every step of they way, from booking to picking up my pup, Leah was amazing!! Despite the hustle and bustle that Christmas Eve can bring, she found the time to ensure that my very anxious pup had a great experience - and my pup looked beautiful at the end of it all! I couldn't recommend getting a booking with Leah enough as we can't wait to get back to see her soon!

   We have 5 rescue huskies and Leah managed to fit in all of them within a few days. All came back clean, well brushed out and smelling fantastic. Our pups loved Leah and will certainly be back
