I ordered day old chicks from Furbies. The delivery was scheduled for a Thursday and I waited in all day. No delivery. A note saying delivery “was attempted”. Friday exactly the same. I live in a small, open plan house with two dogs, a door bell and a door knocker. There is absolutely no way to make any reasonable attempt at delivery and not get a response when I am at home. The second note said I would have to collect from a depot a considerable distance away. Despite that Parcelforce decided to leave frozen chickens in the full sun on Saturday morning. I was unavoidably away until Monday when I discovered the sticking and oozing health hazard they had left. I emailed the company who immediately deflected to Parcelforce. I pointed out Parcelforce only reimburse me their charges and Furbies gave me no options on delivery Furbies promised to investigate and get back to me. They have not contacted me since. I feel a public apology and full refund is the minimum they owe at this stage
