   Myself, brother and two under 2’s came to swim this morning, the entire time we were there we only saw one other person using the pool facilities, it was not at all busy. We arrived a few minutes early to allow for time to get the babies changed. A very abrasive woman in the main reception advised us that we might be allowed in early but we also might not as it was down to the discretion of the staff at the pool. We went to the pool area where another unsmiling member of staff reiterated several rules to us and advised that our hour slot included the time it takes to change and we would need to leave promptly at the end of our booked slot. I repeat, we were the only ones there bar one other customer. I am not at all opposed to adhering to rules, I understand their purpose and am happy to comply. What I dislike is the feeling of being “told off” it might have been nice if we have felt welcomed at the pool, to be greeted with kindness instead of treated like a naughty child.

   Great spot for lunch. Friendly service and good value for money. If you plan to check out the Fort it's a nice spot to stop for a meal or a light snack. They also sell drinks, chocolate bars and other light items you can take with you of you are out hiking.
