   Great gym, great swimming lessons for the kids and great staff. I use the gym at least twice a week and it's never busy. There's a separate weights area, which is usually a little busier but if you're looking for a cardio burst then the upper level you can nearly always guarantee will have a treadmill, elliptical or variety of bike free. The kids have spent 2.5 years in lessons there and we've only kept them in for so long because of how much they love the place and lessons. They've learnt so much and completely overcome any fears or trepidation they may have previously had. I can't thank Simone and the team enough. Staff wise, they're also fantastic, my son injured himself, entirely our fault and the staff couldn't do enough to help. Yeah the place isn't pristine but it's well maintained, clean and friendly.

   Gym facilities are brilliant. Cannot moan about that at all. Where they let themselves down though is with the steam room and spa pool. A big reason for us joining was to use these facilities and from what I can gather, the steam room and shower has been out of action for some time, and today, the spa pool was out of action (apparently a regular occurrence, although I might be wrong). Also with the shower being out of action, people coming straight out of the sauna and are extremely sweaty and getting straight into the spa pool with others, without rinsing off is pretty disgusting. If they could sort these issues out, it would be a fantastic place to go.

   Renovation of the gym is excellent, unfortunately the wet side has been in need of a makeover for several years. Filter on Jacuzzi has been broken for at least 3 years, steam room has been out of use for 2 years and shower has been out of use since before covid. Staff are brilliant but only thing that prevents 5 stars is the poor upkeep and maintenance on the wet side of the gym. A refurb has been promised since I joined in 2012/13.

   Very good gym and swimming pool. Staff ,especially Dave (or Rodney) and Amber,are excellent and keep the place very clean. Also a lot of people are keen for the steam room to be repaired, as its been out of action for a few years,but have been told it is going to be sorted by Easter (this year) let's hope so. Watch this space.

   Been a member here for around 6 months, it was pretty good at first but I just can't handle how gross and dirty the woman's changing rooms always are now. A sea of hair, water and dirt all over the floor whatever time/ day of the week I seem to go it's always rank in there! I don't even have huge standards for cleanliness but this is next level. Tried to go to the gym today, waited 15 mins and every treadmill was taken so I gave up. The shower next to the sauna has been broken since before I joined and the steam room which broke shortly after is still out of order. Seems like whoever owns it isn't willing to put any money into the upkeep of the place. Shame as it used to be good but it's gone downhill.

   Always a great place to work out. Lots of machines available. Not too busy if you avoid very early in the morning or early evening. Staff are friendly and happy to help. Clean facilities.

   Been member over 7 years. Gym is tired looking but going through modernisation as I type this. New ideas but equipment is old . There are new machines been added but still have old machines. Golf course is well maintained and a must for any folder who likes a challenge.
