Dont waste your money on these lakes. Horrible rude bailiffs and the fishing is abysmal

Recently registered my son as a junior member, we were fishing today and a bailiff (Steve Aldridge) come over to check that we were members. Couldn't have been a nicer person! We were missing a few bits of kit that are required to fish the lake and he made us aware that we should have it. Beyond that, he gave my son some great advice. We'd been there a few hours and not a nibble, after a few adjustments from Steve, less than 5 minutes later my sons face lit up with shock as his float sank, shouting what do I do. Steve could have turned us away for breaching the requirements but he was quick to tell me that my son and daughter were future anglers and spared alot of his time to help teach them. As for the lakes, they're great, plenty of spots and very scenic. Far deeper than we thought and if you're quiet enough you'll see the fish coming up the bank for food. Huge thanks to Steve for taking the time to help us and give us advice that we'll use going forward.

Honestly I fished there for a thew years a long long time ago until I enter a fishing contest and it was a total fox as the guy in charge his son won. Also the rules where no leaving ya peg ye was literally casting over my head walking around to where I was fishing and drop his weight and bait into the wayer. Also tbh the people are just horrible

Awesome place to fish with a nice variety. They are lakes you have to fish, and some days are hard going but that is what makes ita great sport
