   The dry cleaners have taken hundreds of pounds of my money over the years. I will never use them again. I have a vintage 1980s designer blazer that came back with two of three unique buttons missing. The buttons were probably mother of pearl and should have been removed prior to cleaning. I would expect so-called professionals to realise this. Apparently, the dry cleaners did not even notice this and did not mention it upon collection (I thought it was the practice to inspect clothes before and after and take note of any flaws). Just spoke to someone there (think it was the owner) and he was incredibly rude. Said that my jacket was old and things break. The buttons did not just happen to break one day; Whites broke them, when many dry cleaners over decades have managed not to. They failed to take reasonable care of my garments. I requested compensation for the jacket, for which I will now have to hunt for quite expensive replacement buttons. The man said "don't give me that rubbish. I'm not listening to this anymore." and hung up on me. Worst customer service I have ever received. I could make a claim, but I can't be bothered. Never using them again.

   We had some concern using these people, after reading the wedding dress review, but needs must. We took in two jackets, one a cream DJ with a few 15 year old stains, and we were informed they would do their best. Which they did. When we collected the jackets, there was only a very small stain, on the DJ, that they couldn't get out. But, once on it was not noticable. The service was excellent and no extra charge for the removal of the stains. We would have no hesitation in using them again.
