I obviously support this business, being a part of this family and working for many years in the business myself. But having travelled (and now living) across the world; having experienced customer service in many industries, including the jewellery trade, I can wholeheartedly say that the knowledge, service, expertise, wisdom, and community-centred relationships that I witnessed and was trained in, has made me the person I am today. The love for community and care for their customers that L.Murray Jewellers has shown for 60 years, is undeniably remarkable in this modern era. I have witnessed my father Luke, and my uncle Paul, put their entire heart and soul into this family business to continue the legacy of their parents, Luke Murray Senior and Margaret Murray (RIP). Their family connection to the community of Newtownards and the North Down area and beyond is unique, and irreplaceable. As this new year begins, I know my father Luke, my uncle Paul and my Aunty Glenda and the entire family circle, wish to thank everyone for their support, friendship and faith in them throughout the years. My grandparents would be so very proud of the legacy from which my father Luke, my uncle Paul and other staff (many of whom have been family themselves, or have always been loyal friends, and therefore treated as family) have helped grow the business to where it is now. The values and ethos of family, kindness and generosity have always been at the forefront of everything L.Murray’s do. These values have been encompassed in both mine and the local community’s hearts and minds for decades. This type of connection and model of business cannot be replicated easily, and it is a testament to the time and dedication of the business to serve and help the local community. Once again, Luke and Paul thank everybody for their unwavering support and friendship, and it has been a pleasure and privilege to serve, help and be a part of this community. We bought our wedding rings here a few weeks ago and can honestly say the customer service was first class. Luke and the rest of the staff were so helpful and Luke fast tracked our rings in time for the wedding. Lovely experience shopping here and I will definately be back in the future.

Friendly, knowledgeable staff. Bought a watch here 18 years ago and it's still strong. Returned here to get a new strap fitted, also to get my wife a new chain for a necklace. Best Jeweller's in Newtownards with advice you can trust!
