   I rarely leave reviews, however after my visit today I felt it was important to share my experience. I have previously had several tattoos done by Jon and have always been pleased with the quality of his work. Recently, I visited another studio to use some vouchers I had been gifted, but unfortunately I wasn’t happy with the result. I therefore returned to Jon’s studio to enquire about a possible cover-up. Upon arrival, I greeted the team, but received no acknowledgment from Jon, Immy, or Amber. The only people who acknowledged me were other clients in the studio, which left me feeling quite uncomfortable. I was eventually seen by Amber, who appeared disinterested throughout the consultation, and Jon did not acknowledge me at all during my visit. This experience made it clear to me that I did not want to proceed with the cover-up there. Jon’s sense of humour has always been a matter of personal taste, but on this occasion, his manner came across as rude. Fortunately, I was able to book a consultation immediately afterwards at No Regrets in Exeter. They were welcoming, professional, and confirmed that they are able to carry out the cover-up with the design I had in mind.

   I have now had 2 piercings done here by Rachel. The advice, the patience and the after care was amazing. A great atmosphere, everyone is very chatty and helpful. I then took my 8 year old daughter to get her ears pierced for the 1st time and the service, care and patience was out of this world. Rachel took the time to engage with my daughter and explain why she was taking her time lining the piercings up. After the first one, my daughter was reluctant to do the second but also desperate to get it done. Both Rachel and Jon were amazing when dealing with a very emotional 8 year old and 40 mins later both ears were done. I cannot recommend the Bug & Pin enough for the professional way that they do things. Amazing

   Amazing, got proper advise on what would and wouldn't work for ear piercing due to size of ear and where veins are within. So friendly, hygienic and knowledgeable, would not recommend anyone else. Great range of stock to buy that changes season to season, can tell why they are doing so well after 6 years in business.

   I would not recommend anywhere other than the bug and pin for tattoos or piercings. Staff are extremely friendly & professional, nothing is too much for them! Jon's passion for ink shines through his phenomenol work and Rach is true to her word and knows exactly what she's talking about and always gives the best aftercare advice. They're always willing to go the extra mile and will do anything to make sure your experience is comfortable and pleasant. Absolutely love you both!❤

   I had my first tattoo done with The Bug and Pin, and it was such a lovely and comfortable experience. Everyone was so friendly and welcoming, and Jon spoke me through everything he was doing from before the tattoo, during the tattoo and the aftercare. The tattoo itself is absolutely stunning, capturing everything I hoped it to be and more. Thank you so much to the team for calming my nerves, and for a beautiful tattoo. Would definitely recommend to anyone!
