   I had an incredible experience being tatted by Jim! I walked into the Circle without an appointment, and I was lucky that he was the one to take me in that day. I was looking for a design that was tailored to my trip to London and my English background, but not only was he able to create a design specifically to my vision, but also to my Japanese heritage. Jim is a super chill, down-to-earth guy but extremely professional too. His workspace and the studio were spotless! If you are looking for a talented and skilled tattoo artist who takes the time to personalize your tattoo experience, I highly recommend Jim. Can't wait to come back! The pics are from right after tattooing, then after 5 months healed.

   While visiting in London made an appointment to get something from Jim’s book. Booking with him was super easy and flexible, he very quickly replied to my inquiries. Day of the appointment was excellent, Jim was super flexible as we looked through the books of drawings he has at hand. We ended up putting several pieces together to make something that fit my arm and had a great conversation too! As a tattooer from the states I’m always anxious to meet fellow artists- Jim was so down to earth and relatable, I can see why he’s built a good client following.

   Got a super sweet tattoo from this legend!!! I was actually flying into London from the USA and was running a bit behind but made it. Better late than never and honestly Jim went above and beyond!!! Not only did he have the patience to wait on me but also came into the shop on a day that he normally doesn’t come into. The atmosphere of the shop was a 10/10 and getting tattooed by Jim was 10/10. One of the chillest dudes I’ve ever met. And the piece that I got from him, literally grime another universe. Thank again man, next time I’m in London I’m definitely getting another piece!!

   Jim has done three tattoos for me so far, one medium sized Samurai on the inside of my right arm, one small Totoro on my left forearm and then my largest so far, a Japanese three quarter length sleeve. I’m really happy with each tattoo. Jim worked with me on the designs, made each a seamless, fun and comfortable experience. He’s a great artist, creative, meticulous and cares about the authenticity of what you’re getting. One of my favourite things about Jim is that if I suggest something he has a knack of steering you politely in the best direction, at the end of the day, he has the knowledge, the experience and skills to get to the best tattoo, placement and sizing. Highly recommend, will be continuing to get tattooed by Jim for years to come.

   This is my first tattoo and Jim did a great job. We designed the tattoo together and while Jim took my ideas on board, much of the innovation/uniqueness of the tattoo is very much his own doing. Love the detail/precision! Everything you would want in a first tattoo. (image is roughly two years on)

   I visited Jim when he came up to guest at Timeless Tattoo, Glasgow. I have followed Jim's work on Instagram for a number of years and I have admired his style for as long as I can remember. I have also enjoyed seeing the progression of his art over the years and so when the opportunity arose to have a permanent piece of his artwork on my skin, I was incredibly excited! The booking process was so simple and Jim was extremely accomodating to my circumstances if I needed to amend/change anything. At my appointment, Jim made me feel comfortable from the get go, right to the end of our session. Jim is extremely friendly, professional and knowledgeable (not just about the subjects he tattoos but about tattooing in general.) You can tell Jim has a genuine passion for what he does and takes the utmost care to ensure he provides a quality work that is going to last. I would highly recommend Jim to anyone looking for super vibrant, unique and high-quality tattoos!
