A great experience at A Sailor’s Grave. I arrived in Belfast and went into the studio based on its great reviews. I told them what I wanted and I was put in contact with Ollie who is the go to man for any script work. Lucky for me, he has a friend who specialises in Gaelic and he did some research for the tattoo I wanted. Ollie is a legend. Super friendly, super skilled, very great at communication and passionate about his work. It was awesome that he was the man to do this very special piece for me and I couldn’t be more grateful. I’ve had a lot of positive feedback about his quality of work from friends and family who have seen it. It’s healing very nicely almost a week later and I’ve barely had to put any cream on it. Such a smooth process and tattoo. Also very well priced. I love it.
Getting my first tattoo at 60 I was apprehensive. Took the plunge and so glad I did. Ross did an amazing job. The detail and work he put into it. The tattoo was a personal one and means only something to me. Can’t recommend Sailorsgrave enough. They are artists.
I got my first tattoo here by Fiona Barr, the atmosphere was extremely welcoming and comforting. I was quite nervous going in but that faded once I sat down. The care and attention to detail in the design I got along with making sure either was okay during the entire process made me feel at home. I've gotten some more tattoos from other places since but sailors grave is by far the best experience I've had
An impulsive tattoo booking, and now I have a gorgeous tattoo thanks to Fiona! They made me feel so comfortable throughout the tattooing! Will definitely be back. The whole vibe of the parlour was awesome, can't wait until the next time
Went to these guys for the first time on the 2nd of November to get my first tattoo. I suffer from anxiety so I was really nervous in getting it but as soon as I walked in they were warm and welcoming from the beginning. My artist Lynice did an amazing job, she made me feel at ease and welcome throughout the entire appointment. Had an amazing experience and will be back for all my future tattoos. I’d definitely recommend this tattoo place to everyone I know
