Do not recommend, pizza came in looking like a total mess thanks to the delivery person. The chicken looks and tastes undercooked. Pizza was somewhat good, but overall mediocre and not worth the price.
I had a fantastic experience at Pizza Express on Lewes Road! From the moment I walked in, the staff were incredibly attentive and friendly. They really paid attention to every detail, ensuring everything was perfect from the service to the ambiance. The pizza itself was absolutely delicious – perfectly cooked with fresh, high-quality ingredients. The flavors were amazing, and it was clear they take pride in every dish they serve. Highly recommend this spot for both great food and exceptional service!
Ordered through Deliveroo a margarita pizza. Delivery was a pepperoni. Received a £4 refund from Deliveroo, for a order totalling £20 (pizza, sides & a drink). Unable to get through to anyone at Pizza Hut to discuss getting another made. Ordered for a vegetarian so pepperoni isn’t ideal.
We ordered off takeout from here, absolutely rank, delivery came via bicycle and took twenty minutes so was stone cold, all items were flavor less, cold, and stodgy. See photos for absolutely rank chicken strips which still tasted frozen and God awful Mac and cheese. The garlic breads cheese hadn't even melted it was all one solid piece and simply rank we left nearly everything for the bin... wouldn't even give it to a dog. Id trust a 5 year old to cook better than this! To top it all off this meal of simply three side dishes cost us £23!!! Absolute disgrace! Will not be ordering from here ever again.
Be very careful when ordering changes to your pizzas such as lactose free. We placed an order for a staff celebration of 16 pizzas with veg ones and lactose free ones yet they label nothing up and expect you to guess which ones are which. Contacting customer care, there response is, check the pictures on the website. Team members couldn’t get involved due to lactose issue. Also 9 of the 16 pizzas were burnt. After spending close to £200 on pizzas customer care response it a £15 voucher. Avoid. Oh the pizzas were also late and no one picks up the phone.
WORST PLACE EVER! AVOID TO ORDER THERE…. I’ve been waiting 3 hours for our pizza to be delivered and it’s still hasn’t arrived … try to call the branch but they never answered ! It’ll be the last time I am ordering there.
Horrible service! Ordered pizza and when was delivered a drink was on top of it. Open it up and toppings of a few pieces are stuck to the top. So I have a few pieces without toppings now. Also there are like 4 pieces of chicken on a pizza. And really not tasty!! When I called them back and started telling they just hang up on me!!! Read reviews before ordering - not worth it!
Absolutely the worst takeaway I’ve ever used. Every 6 months or so I lose a grip on my common sense and think it can’t be as bad as I remember. I order again and guess what, it really is as bad as I remember. This time, turned up over an hour late, food was cold, garlic bread looked half eaten, chicken & dips were missing. Rang to complain and they couldn’t have cared any less. Eventually offered a refund but no apology and then hung up on me. It remains to be seen if I get the refund. I’m not holding my breath. AVOID AT ALL COSTS.
Never ever order from there - this branch is absolutely terrible. The staff know that pizzas take 2-3 hours to be delivered, and don't care. They purposefully never answer the phone. Their pizzas are still promised, when you order online, to be delivered in 30-40 minutes. But the PH website never gives a honest update on the delay, it's impossible to call the branch (they don't answer the phone), and the staff there could not care less. They hence purposefully ruin the evenings of countless people who just want to spend a nice evening. Don't be one of them.
I used to love Pizza Hut until I ordered from here. Pizza was delivered cold and soggy with the wrong topping and once again without the garlic sprinkle on the crust. Surprisingly though it was delivered on time for once with a fairly polite driver. Still won’t be ordering again.
