   We went to Mixto last night and had a great time. We’ve been before for a quick lunch but it was nice to sit down and have an evening meal. The food was amazing, as always, especially the hand made nori tacos. You can tell how fresh all the ingredients are and the flavour combinations are so exciting. It was lovely to speak to Oswaldo too, he was very generous and it’s so nice to hear how passionate he is about the great food and atmosphere at Mixto.

   I’ve been to this restaurant several times and always leave wanting more. The sushi tacos are unlike anything I’ve had anywhere else and their other menu items are just as delicious! It’s a family-owned business and every time I go in they are so kind. You can see the passion they have for their food and taste it as well. I could not recommend more!!

   Me and my partner popped into Mixto! in Brighton & Hove for some sushi and a poke bowl and honestly had the best time. The food was spot on – fresh, full of flavour and beautifully put together. The guy serving was running the whole place on his own, but he still made us feel really well looked after and worked incredibly hard. Proper lovely service and seriously tasty food. Highly recommend!

   What a place! lovely family run business. Great vibes and the food is truly unreal. Never had Shushi, hot or cold like it. My favourite is the Salmon Shashimi Nori Taco, its life changing. Give it a go, you will not be disappointed I promise.

   Had lunch here and service was quick. Everything tasted fresh. The crunchy salmon sashimi taco was just amazing! Very interesting texture, fresh and clean-tasting salmon. I ordered the build-your-own bowl poke bowl and it was also good. Would definitely come back here the next time I’m here in Brighton.

   I am a journalist and recognised as a part of the Local Guides here on Google Reviews. I am very impressed with the customer service and food from this restaurant. We had a wonderful dinner at Tropical Sushi on a weekday, I extremely recommend this place. Lived in Brighton for many years and I believe this should be embraced by all visiting and living here. The food is amazing and every single dish is made with lots of care and tastes delicious! Very filling and healthy plates with a range of dietary requirements. I advise to look at the menu and book ahead of time, as it is a family business and everything is prepared fresh! I loved that they have an open kitchen, very honest and you can see exactly what is happening behind the dishes. The atmosphere is very lovely and cosy. We mentioned Brazilian background and heard Brazilian music on the playlist shortly after. Very attentive to their customers. A humble local family business worth investing into.

   Gotta love when you discover a cozy place where the people is not only extremely friendly and welcoming but also the food is amazing! The combination of flavours and textures are incredible.    The best of the best! So yummy, the sushi is really well done! I have been away from Brighton and visiting tropical sushi is a must, they also do Tequeños which is a Venezuelan snack. I just love it so much, can’t wait to go back

   The best sushi I ever had in my life. The place was beautifully decorated and warm. Honestly the sushi fusion was unbelievably tasty. We tried almost everything in the menu. Spectacular. Ornela treated me and my friends like honour guest. Highly recommended.
