   While on the way back from Eastbourne to brighton we thought we would try a Chinese takeaway in seaford after looking at review this was the best one so we stopped there placed our order and off home we went after unpacking the crispy shredded chilli beef was dry and a separate pot of sauce which you needed a straw to drink it not recommended chicken balls chewy again sweet and sour like water next chicken curry was ok but it goes like water when cooling down pancake rolls were good prawn crackers were good too so in all some good some bad .

   Great service and good atmosphere is no good unless the food is the same, the food is excellent, used the happy chef for 5 years and never had a bad experience, won’t use any other , so friendly, signed ted or Brian whichever name my gf gives for me to pick up our food. Keep up the good service and food

   First time Ive tried happy chef in years and I can't fault it. Delivery was quicker than expected, it arrived hot, was fresh and delicious. A bit more pricey than some Chinese takeaways but it was worth it.

   Polite, friendly and quick service. Really nice food except, the sauces come separate to the meat. Although the chicken for our lemon sauce was very tasty and in bite size pieces, the sauce was very thick, pale and tasted like Ambrosia custard. No issues with the rest of our choices though. All in all, a nice Chinese and one to use again.

   Throughly enjoyed my experience at The Happy Chef Chinese, ravishing food and exquisite service. My personal faves are the lovely chicken balls and chicken and sweet corn soup! Arrived piping hot and it was great to see they accept card payment now. 10/10 would recommend to a friend for sure.
