First visit to Big Bowl on Preston Street. We shared tofu and avocado summer rolls with peanut sauce and Sweet Garlic Soy fried chicken wings to start, both delicious. The chicken yellow curry was rich, comforting, and full of flavour. Itβs a small but comfortable spot with a relaxed atmosphere where youβre not rushed. Great food.

We had a lovely dinner at The Big Bowl. The smoked salmon summer roll was delicious and we ordered the Big Bowl pho and the Hanoi Rump Steak pho both of which were so tasty. Staff were lovely too - highly recommend!

Iβve been wanting to try The Big Bowl for ages and finally got round to booking a table for a pre-birthday celebration. The restaurant is small but had a great atmosphere - service is super friendly. The pho, arguably the best broth I have enjoyed! It was so flavourful, deep and delicious and warming. Itβs everything you want in a bowl of noodles. I chose the beef marrow and short rib and the meat was so tender, the bone slipped off without resistance! Everything about the food was simply fresh and delicious! I will be back for more slurping soon!

In a street filled with restaurants, which one would you choose? So my housemate recommended we eat here. We were starving and our order was going to take about 30 minutes. The wait was worth it. So we ordered grilled pork steak. It is saigon style chargrilled pork steaks. I can taste a hint of lemongrass that adds freshness contrasting the smokey flavors of the steak. It was served with its own nuoc mam dipping sauce which is a combination of sweet sour spicy salty and savoury flavours. We also shared a bowl of their house special Beef Tendon - it is rice noodles in lemongrass soup with a hot and spicy beef broth, slow cooked beef, sliced short ribs and tendons. Texture play was there. The broth was clear, clean, beefy, herby and comforting. We also had the Ca Phe Muoi (Vietnamese salted coffee) - oh so perfect and refreshing. It was creamy and sweet and then a little bit of saltiness hits your tastebuds. Yes they accept credit cards and they have a loo.

Great tasting, authentic Vietnamese food. I had summer roles and beef pho and my partner had BBQ pork bun. All of the food was delicious and despite there being so many restaurants to try in Brighton we are planning to eat here again when we go back in September.

Visited Brighton yesterday to take part of the Pride Parade. After the parade we were looking for a place to eat and stumbled on this little Vietnamese food place. Had the spring rolls and the Big Bowl Pho... Everything was really delicious and the service was good. Definitely a place to visit.

Really lovely experience. Our server was thoughtful and bubbly! And the food delish and flavourful. I didnβt want the mushrooms, and she came back and offered to substitute it for anything else of my choice, just going the extra mile to improve customer service! Decor is really aesthetic and modern. The bathrooms were really clean and modern. Really highly recommend.

Amazing food, brilliant service and nice relaxed ambience. This is undoubtedly the best Vietnamese food I've had in Brighton, far outstripping the chain alternative in central town. Our server was amazing - warm, attentive and accommodating. The food was all clearly freshly made from good ingredients. We will be returning! Highly recommended!

Very quick and attentive service. We had the tofu and shiitake mushroom spring roll and also the tofu and avocado summer roll to start, both were fresh and delicious and we could get enough of the peanut sauce. For mains we both had pho, the vegan option was fragrant and their choice of meat alternative was good but not as tastes as some alternatives on the market. The βbig meat bowlβ was filled will noodles and meat and I was so full I couldnβt finish the delicious broth. Only 4 stars as; a glass with some ice would be nice when ordering a coke, especially when menu prices are a fair price for a good eatery. The vegan choice of meat alternative could benefit from further research, although it wasnβt bad at all. And the beef in the big bowl could be cut smaller. Will definitely return as it was a very satisfying meal.
