The owner and staff were incredibly welcoming, making it feel like a warm, local gem rather than just a restaurant. One of the best Thai meals I’ve had in Brighton – highly recommend and will definitely be back!”

I loved the Guiooza and the green curry .. the staff is so lovely and friendly I am definitely going back .. it’s mainly for takeaways so not ideal for a night out ..still there are places to sit if you want.. the extra amazing is that it comes with paper packing no plastic soooo cool!! “We just had a truly wonderful dining experience at Moonstone and simply had to share it. This restaurant in Brighton is an absolute gem, and I can't recommend it highly enough. Every dish we tried was bursting with amazing flavours and felt so fresh. The staff were really nice and the price was so convenient for the incredible quality and generous portions. I felt the meal was exceptionally good value. We will definitely go back.”

“We ordered 4 different dishes, all of which were absolutely delicious and tasted about as authentic as any Thai food I've had in the UK. The portions and price were all perfectly reasonable. The service was also attentive and polite. (The downstairs seating area did smell a bit damp and mouldy but luckily we were sitting upstairs). All in all a fantastic meal.”

“Me and my partner are now aiming to become regulars after 2 visits here! The food is consistently superb and fresh. The owner, 'Chandra', is so lovely on our first visit that he sat us down and spoke us through his menu. This is an amazing place for regular diners but must go place for veggie and vegans- as Chandra is one himself. My Italian partner told me she hasn't had tofu this good before! We also love their coffee, one of the best blends in brighton (they get and roast their single blend Indonesian beans themselves!)- they even bring over fresh coconut milk! Our favourite drinks, besides the coffee, were the sex in the jungle cocktail and tropical jungle juice smoothie. We're also big fans of the green curry (with duck) and panaeng curry (with the lovely tofu) The ONLY thing that could make the experience even better is softer light. It always being bright takes away from the atmosphere, but it's only a minor thing”

“Cozy seating, wonderful presentation and incredibly delicious! Polite staff and great Service. The red prawn curry was packet full of flavors and the chili squid was tender and crispy. The duck confit was also excellent and paired really well with the pack Choi and tender-stem broccoli. I 100% recommend eating here!!”

“Authentic Thai food, cocktails are very very good, beautiful to look at and taste amazing, and fantastic pricing. Seabass and tom yum soup were my favourite, fresh and full of flavour. Was a very busy lunch today with 20 Korean film crews ahead of us, but the manageress was apologetic, and it wasn't that long of a wait to be honest at the end. Overall, a great dining experience with great food, excellent drinks and above standard service, highly recommended.”

“Sabai Thai has become my favourite restaurant and I always try to visit when in Brighton. Everything about the place is exceptional; the food, the welcome, the ambience.... everything. On this occasion I visited with my partner to celebrate her birthday. Gina and her team ensured she was given a birthday meal to remember from the complimentary prosecco to begin through to the deep fried ice cream (complete with birthday candle) to end. I cannot recommend Sabai thai highly enough. I would go as far to say that if you visit Brighton and don't drop in you are missing out.”

“I ordered them off deliveroo and I was so pleasantly surprised. It's authentic and just so flavourful. I went for the spicy papaya salad and it was so spicy so good I just can't believe I found this place in Brighton. Also they got the BEST tom yum absolutely not a doubt there.”

It's probably not the biggest portion I've got, but it was delicious and both chilli and peanuts came in separate little bags, which is really great, I could regulate the level of spice. “Best prawn pad Thai in Brighton! Really delicious, generous portion, prawns were big and fresh tasting. Mother in law had recently had dental surgery and was unable to eat solid foods but wanted to go out, our waitress was so kind and accommodating. She brought out a piece of tofu so she could see if it was soft enough! MIL had Tom Ka without any solids and it was so so delicious - will definitely order this when we next come (with all the usual fixings) Thank you so much for such a lovely dinner !”

“Been here a couple of times and the food is always fab. They have redecorated since we were last here and it looks great. Service is good and staff really nice and chatty. Such good value on the set menus. We stay in the hotel across from it each year and so ideal as we prefer Asian to pub food. Will be back next year. Only downside on this visit was that it closed at 7pm which meant eating earlier than we normally would. I guess out of season times.”

Ahead of the convention, Robert and I decided to spend a few days exploring the city, and that’s when we came across Pho Brighton. What a wonderful discovery!!! The food was absolutely excellent, rich in flavour, fresh, and deeply satisfying. The atmosphere felt joyful, relaxed, and genuinely welcoming, making the whole experience even more enjoyable. “I cannot praise this place enough. From the truly divine food that the magnificent Nicky, her sister, Be (alongside her adorable partner in crime, Bo, a Miniature Pinscher) and her expert team creates, to the incredibly attentive front of house service that her remarkable husband, Allon, offers in abundance, this place a true gem of a family run business. There's a treasure trove of freshly made food stuffs, ranging from rolls and sandwiches, a vast selection of lunch and dinner offerings that change every day (including soups), preserved stuff in jars (CHILI OIL!!!), excellent coffee options (I highly recommend the Vietnamese varient), sooooo many delicious cakes and the like, a selection of things in the fridge and freezer for you to cook at home, and some superb alcoholic options if that's to your liking. While it's always playing in the background at a very comfortable volume that easily allows for conversations to flow (although, why are you talking and not eating?!), the music compliments the overall atmosphere and is as wide ranging as the food and drink that's available. I've been frequenting this place for more years than I can remember, and if ever I find myself feeling sad, lonely and downtrodden, this place, due to all of the above, always lifts elevates my spirit. Never, not once, have I left this place feeling emotional or physically worse thn when I entered. Food for the soul, and then some. In fact, the only thing that I love more than this place are the people who run it. I absolutely adore Allon and Nicky as if they were my own family, and they have always treated me with a loving affection that is a rarity in my day to day life. As someone who very much believes in a higher power, but not necessarily the concept of Heaven as an eternal afterlife, per se, I am pretty sure that there is this exact same Nanima to be found there, too, with absolutely nothing changed from how it appears in this life. And if there's a Heaven on earth? Well, Nanima is it!”

“Such an amazing restaurant!! Food was soooo delicious, and it came really quickly! Service was great, the staff were keen to recommend dishes and ensure we had considered the specials (so glad they did because we had one of the specials and it was unreal!!) We had the crispy squid to start which came with a range of really fragrant and delicious sauces. Then shared the green curry and the pad see ew, both so full of flavour. Loved the homemade lemon ice tea too. Really great place, I highly recommend!!”
