“Incredible food, comfortable seating and friendly staff. Satay Chicken Dish was absolutely incredible . Will be definitely coming back for that soon. PadThai was really good too, one small thing I’d say is it felt a little bit dry more than I’d like it, not the best PadThai I’ve had but still really good! Thank you.”
“Hands down my favourite takeaway. The vegan range is absolutely brilliant and all delicious. I think I am addicted to the vegan yasai fried rice! My Mum came down from the midlands recently to visit and ordered the chow mein which she said was the best she'd ever had. So much so, I have just ordered one for her to take up there with me tomorrow!”
“The best pho I’ve had in a while and I’ve tried a few to say the least , been to many food festivals . Diff restaurants this the best by far also lovely cocktail many thanks guys ❤️”
“This place is truly truly fantastic. Don’t listen to the naysayers, the negative ninnies. The food is wonderful, the staff are gorgeously wonderful and the atmosphere top notch. In a way, this wonderful place is a bit of time capsule, but it’s one of the reasons why this place is so wonderful. Amongst the many overpriced, hyper-gentrified and over modern places that we are forced to dine in, this place stands out for something true, wonderful, fun, nostalgic and just brilliant. Just go and enjoy….”
“Best Thai restaurant I have ever been. Massaman curry and 5 spice pork belly were awesome! Staff was really nice. 10/10”
“Things are a bit hazy on this pub as we'd been to a few before but I remember the staff being friendly and a selection of beers. Nice pub, good atmosphere. Would go back”
“Delicious & Authentic Goan Food, best in Brighton & Hove, Enjoyed the Beef Roast, Pork Vindaloo & Chicken Xacutti along with Arroz. Will savour more dishes next time. Reasonable priced and with the promotional discount was a steal.”
“Wau Asian Kitchen provided us with a vegetarian/vegan gluten free buffett for 30 people. The food was fresh, colourful and delicious, enjoyed by everyone. We would highly recommend - thank you Wau Asian Kitchen”
“Webt there during a visit to our relatives. A fine local pub. Cordial staff. Nice selection of beers and wines. Cozy indoors and lovely outdoors. We didn't try it, but the smell of Thai food was very tempting. The menu seemed very interesting. Will come back to sample it at some point.”
“Have eaten or drunk at this pub a few times now, and have yet to be dissapointed. The food is always incredible (the duck dish on the special menu is particularly tasty), and the drinks are good value with a good variety of beer on tap, spirits and cocktails. Have always been welcomed with a smile and good vibes from the bar staff, and the Saturday night bands are are always good entertainment too! Will always pop in if I'm in the area ☺️”
“Absolutely loved this meal. Can't believe it's taken me so long to get there. Definitely some of the best Thai I've had in Brighton. Great flavours and generous portions. Lovely staff and ambience. Menu changes regularly but our sea bass and pork belly dishes were superb. Highly recommend”
“Ordered delivery for the first time from this place. Fast delivery, tasty food. The satay sauce is really good! Will be ordering from here again.”
“We had a wonderful meal here from Nick who runs Kab, a Thai supper club inspired by Northern Thai cuisine and his experiences in the area. As someone who has grown up in Southeast Asia the flavours on show I feel were highly authentic, punchy and most importantly, absolutely delicious. The wines and drinks available were ample and paired well. Another highlight was eating at the communal dining table and ultimately making friends with everyone over delicious food and drink. Overall a very fairly priced, authentic, unique and delicious dining experience. Definitely a hidden gem in the Brighton and Hove dining scene and well worth a detour!”
“great takeaway! we ordered form here and the prices are good, portions are a good size, and food arrived fairly quickly. the service was lovely - i called ahead before ordering to ask about gluten free options as I have coeliac disease, and they were very helpful in advising me. i would definitely recommend ordering from here”
“Large portions, great taste and good value for money. No complaints here at all.”
